James helped me win in a settlement that amounted to more than I had anticipated. He is professional, responsive and extremely knowledgeable. I feel like I can rely on him to advise me on legal matters when necessary.

My co-worker discriminated against me because of my national origin, making fun of my accent and humiliating me on a daily basis at my workplace. My boss did nothing to stop it and retaliated against me by firing me after I complained about it. Well, James brought a suit against my former boss and co-worker and he won. I am so grateful to James! I highly recommend his services.

I had an issue with my former employer who sent me a settlement agreement. I had never had a issue like this before and needed some legal advice and someone to review the contract. James Hartt returned my call promptly, was very proactive about my timetable and was professional. After reviewing the contract he informed me of all my options. In the process he help me walkthrough the negotiations process to get a higher settlement. His rate in my opinion was fair and I recommend him to anyone having issues with their employer. Even if you just request a constaltation its worth the money.

I would lost if I had to do all of these legal processes by myself, but attorney James Hartt was there when I needed help. People in these big organizations won’t care how you feel when you treated terribly in the work places, and I just didn’t know what to do or how to fight them. Mr. Hartt represented me in a Retaliation suit against a former employer. The fee was reasonable and I was able to keep everything in the settlement. He kept informed and educated every step of the way. I can’t thank him enough for everything he did and the peace of mind that I wouldn’t have been able to achieve without him.

He was inconsistent with the terms of the contract and the amount owed. For instance retained for $2500 and then was told later on that owed another $2500 for him to represent the next phase of lawsuit, but this wasn't discussed nor explained. He later withdrew from being counsel with NO notice mind you other than a letter in the mail, simply because I was being moral support to a friend who is more like a mother to me. All I did was be present as moral support at her proceedings via phone and he dropped both of us as client's for this claiming that he should be the only one giving advice and I shouldn't have been present. Mind you I referred him the business of my friend..... Now we are both searching for new attorneys while he is again not sticking to terms of contract by referring us to different counsel and is off on vacation......not responding to us. Great attorney NOT! Not only this but while handling my case he was poor at getting back to me in timely manner and would often re-request documents that were already sent to him as if he didn't pay attention to his emails or read things his client sent him...made me feel like it was just a quick paycheck and a quick stupid excuse to drop clients. His loss.

His legal skills were amazing. He really helped me address all my issues w my former employer.
