I highly recommend the reader steers clear of this firm. They are no where near efficient and will not handle your case professionally. Way better off going to the Law Office of Nicholas Ramcharitar in Valley Stream. Extremely disappointed in the firm and their entire team. I had paid this firm to handle a case for my father and one for myself. The only speedy communication I received was when they called me to take my initial payments, surmounting to almost 3000$ and to sign the documents in August of 2023. Since then I have unfortunately had to chase the firm for updates. I had left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails that were never answered. The few times they did answer was days after my emails and calls. No once did I speak to Mr. Montanaro or did he discuss the case with me directly so I would like to state this is not a family office style as the work is all delegated to his associates and paralegal, yet that yielded next to nothing in terms of communication. I have managed multi-million dollar merges for fortune 10 companies and have my own firm. I state this because through all my endeavors I have had many experiences with a multitude of large corporate firms and small offices and family firms. MontanaroLaw has not followed, in my experience, professional courtesy or procedure in handling a clients case. When I could get in contact with someone it seems the firm internally is very discombobulated and I believe this is a result of taking on too many clients and cases, without the supporting infrastructure to efficiently manage clients. I understand that cases can go in either direction, but I have yet to here from anyone at the firm what is going on in both the cases I paid for representation on. My best friend and his close friends are all graduates from Touro law school and I have had the pleasure of knowing 4 nassau and suffolk ADAs. Its a shame I have to reach out to personal connections to see that representation I paid for was not being efficiently filed. I believe it was not the intention of this firm to be inefficient and waste my time, however if you bring your business here, you are just a number/ statistic and I cannot trust them to handle my issues with care to a positive outcome in the case. As a corporate professional and owner of my own firm, from experience I can strongly justify that this team does not know how to run a business and ensure clients needs are met. The court case for my father was an unjust 1 year suspension of his license and to this day the firm has not given me any updates and I have call logs, unanswered emails, and a variety of supporting evidence to the negligence. As a small business owner I am disappointed I must sit here and break down another business, however through all the positive reviews, negatives will arise. It was never about the outcome of the case, but the basic respect to be treated like a paying client. My resume speak for itself in terms of my ability to professionally evaluate a business after weighing all the pros and cons, as displayed on my LinkedIn.
