Caterina Ranieri, is a Civil law attorney specializing in dual citizenship matters. Located out of upstate/central New York state she is extremely familiar with the workings of both local and state government procedures. In order to obtain Irish Citizenship, I needed assistance obtaining the "long form”, certified copy of my deceased mother’s birth record from New York State. Because of New York State privacy rules, and my mother being deceased, there was no way for me to obtain this birth record without getting a court order. Caterina proved to be particularly skilled in navigating the inner workings of the bureaucracies involved. Additionally, she was straight forward with me as to what steps I would need to take in assisting her. She was clear, concise, caring and professional in all of our interactions. Obstacles were never a problem, just a step along the way. When I first contacted her in May of 2020, she laid out the steps required to attain our goal, her fees (quite reasonable in my opinion) and additional likely government charges we would incur. Within approximately 6 months, I had my required paperwork in hand. I have no idea how I would have achieved this on my own. Caterina helped me with a somewhat complicated New York State birth certificate issue. She was very professional, timely and got the job done.
