I worked for Ira Maurer for 15 years as his secretary and paralegal. I have seen firsthand his interactions with his clients. Not only is he extremely professional, he is also very caring and compassionate. His medical knowledge is impressive and he always educates his clients concerning their medical condition. When he first meets with a client, he will spend at least two hours, sometimes longer, gathering all the details of their accident, explaining the legal process and what to expect as their case proceeds. Ira always makes himself available to speak with his clients and encourages them to call him with any questions or concerns. He is prompt in responding to phone calls. He always keeps his clients updated on the status of their case and explains what can be expected throughout each phase of their case. I have recommended Ira to friends and family and will continue to do so. He is the best!

I was referred to the Maurer Law firm about a year ago. Having no prior experiences with lawyers, I was astonished by the way with which Ira responded to my inquiries. When I first met Ira I didn’t know if he be able to help me or not before I presented him with my case . As I explained the situation he listened to me and gave me his opinion and professional advice. When I was injured on the job I was referred to Ira by a co-worker. Aside from being a good listener Ira is a very good lawyer and I would say the best at what he does. I met with Ira in early August 2017 after my Mom, Kathleen was hit by car while walking to her car in Jefferson Valley N.Y. on Sunday July 30th. I arranged for Ira to have an initial consultation with my Mom while she was in rehab. I was so very impressed by the concern and time Ira took in that initial meeting with Mom. Ira was considerate, thoughtful, caring, and provided Mom with all the information she would need, to afford her the comfort that she would receive throughout the litigation process.
