I worked with Michael DiFalco and he was great with everything. Anything I did not understand he was sure to go over in detail. He made me feel very confident in everything he helped me with and was always available if needed. Would definitely recommend him if you need any legal assistance.

I met him, seemed OK. First gaveme a 20 page retainer agreement and wanted money up front. Came to court late, unprepared, knew nothing about my case. Case transfered to different county by judge. Second meeting, thought I smelled alcohol on hi breath at the hearing. He sat like a zombie, said nothing, I had to represent myself. When he did talk, he was 100% wrong, and failed to grasp a simple matrimonial concept. The judge thought I was the attorney. He then drafted 3 petitions that were bogus, never filed them, billed me and took the balance of the retainer. I never used him again. Run for the hills with this one. You would be better off pro se.

I retained the expert services of Dean Lakis, Esq last year in an attempt to recover funds that were owed to me by a lunatic that slashed my brand new UV while in a parking lot. He was caught on camera, and we had him cold, although, the D.A. was able to prosecute, they were NOT able to gain full restitution from this guy. Once I met with Mr. Lakis, I felt fairly confident that he would be the GUY I needed in the courtroom. Well, as the story played out, I can assure you, that HE WAS THE RIGHT GUY. We had this lunatic arrested, and forced him to cove every penny that I had spent to restore the brand new truck back to the showroom condition. Many a lawyer would have shied away from this case, as I had tried several others, BUT, I can safely say that Mr. Lakis was fast, concise, direct, supporting, compassionate and thorough in his diligence to bring justice to the matter. As a Business attorney, I can not recommend another, and now that I have referred him to friends, I can likewise state hat as a Matrimonial attorney, he is equivocally effective. Lakis is the kind of lawyer that you want on YOUR side of the table! He gets the job done!

Total Fraud I retained Mr. Lakis to file motions and subpoenas for my matrimonial matters. Despite being paid $5000 on May 29 2015 to file the papers before the 15th of June. He failed to file any motions that I needed him to. Dean Lakis never followed through and then he even had the audacity to try and extort another $2500 from me. He since ignores my phone calls and emails. I just want to warn future divorcees, Don't believe a word he says. STAY AWAY!
