Scott handled a case for us with the utmost in professionalism and got a settlement that thrilled us considering the complexity of the case. We found Scott to be responsive to all our concerns and extremely detailed oriented. He was always on time and answered all our questions either through phone calls or texts or emails and was always available to us. He made a difficult situation alot easier to deal with and I would highly recommend him as not all attorneys are this dedicated.

Overall I was very satisfied with how Sari represented me in my divorce case. She quickly understood the situation and what was needed and pushed forward intelligently and strategically. She was always available when needed - there have been many times when I exchanged a flurry of emails with her late at night or on weekends to resolve an issue quickly. And her billing for all time was very reasonable and appropriate. I always reviewed bills against my notes and they were always as expected, or even a little less than I anticipated sometimes. Sari is an aggressive lawyer. She's tough, but cordial - certainly not warm and fuzzy, but that's not what I need from a lawyer. The only time we disagreed was frankly when I wanted to go easier on my ex than she recommended. But I'd rather have that than someone who is not constantly fighting for her client. My ex complained at one point that I outspent him in legal fees, but my understanding is that in fact he spent more than I did. I'm very happy with the outcome of my case and would definitely recommend Sari.

Charging $250 for a consultation and 5,000 upon hire I was told. They had no curiousity concern or interest in my case didn't even ask what help or area of concern I was contacting them about. This is not a service. These people do not have any concern or care for a potential client.

I cannot say enough good things about Scott Gross. From the moment I met him in his office, he was extremely professional and straightforward. I had gone into my case expecting a certain outcome, one that Scott said was a very likely possibility. At my first court date with Scott he settled my case and got me a marginally better deal then we had both anticipated. Scott even reduced my fee when it turned out it would take less time then we both originally expected. His levels of professionalism, honesty, and intelligence are truly remarkable. After having met with a couple of lawyers before Scott Gross, I can honestly say his ethic and knowledge make him one of the best lawyers on Long Island.

Great guy and great lawyer. I was referred to Mr. Gross through a friend. From my experience he's the type of lawyer you'd want fighting for you. He gives off the right amount of confidence and care to make you feel comfortable with his representation. This firm has been doing this for many years and definitely knows and understands the process. First off they made me feel comfortable and walked me through what they can do for me. The gave me options and really got me at rest. They accomplished the goal and I will forever be thankful of that.

I was arrested for an aggravated DWI in March 2015. I had never been in trouble with the law and I was extremely emotional after I was released from the New York County jail the following day. I felt defeated as I was informed that I did not qualify for a Public Defender to represent me and being from New Jersey I had no clue where to begin with exploring my options for an experienced lawyer to represent me. I was charged with four charges: (1) Aggravated DWI, (2) DWI per se (over legal limit of .08), (3) DWI under the common law, and (4) Driving while my ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. I met with two lawyers prior to meeting with Steven Epstein. After every consultation my father and I never left confident that they would be able to defend me in such a difficult case. Steven was recommended to me through a friend who happened to be with me the morning I was arrested. The minute I spoke with his paralegal, Suzanne, to schedule a consultation I felt a genuine sense of compassion from her. Prior to meeting with Steven he had requested that the District Attorney (DA) provide him with my paperwork in order to obtain further information and provide me with better feedback. In calling to request my documents, the DA immediately inquired about how I found Steven and stated that he was the best in the state of New York. Feeling much more reassured about the decision to have Steven represent me, my father and I met with him at his Manhattan office. During the meeting with Steven, he was extremely detailed and I knew he thoroughly reviewed my paperwork from the night of the incident. My father and I felt comfortable with proceeding with Steven given his extensive knowledge and the confidence we had in him to represent me appropriately. The overall process was extremely stressful and emotional for me. I worked so hard to be where I was personally and professionally with my career and I did not want to lose it all. I was facing possible criminal charges that would impact my background. Steven reassured me of the potential consequences and also expressed to me various times that having a DWI would not severely impact me in the way that I feared. It took one year and 10 months for my case to finally go to trial. Prior to the trial, a pre-trial was held two months before. Steven tried to accommodate me as much as possible since my current employer was unaware of me legal situation and I was challenged with not having many vacation or personal days to take off from work. My case was so difficult that Steven was realistic with me and explained that if the verdict was not guilty on the first three and then guilty on the last it would still be considered a win. Steven remained poised throughout our days in court and really did a great job of identifying areas within my case to focus in on that favored me. Steven is very knowledge and effective supporting all the evidence presented with credible facts, which resulted in the jury reaching a verdict of not guilty for all four charges. The time and money invested to have Steven successfully represent me was worth it. Steven and Suzanne gave me a second chance at life and I feel truly blessed.

I met with Sari Friedman after having a terrible experience for two years with a previous lawyer. I liked her immediately - I thought she was really knowledgeable, smart, no nonsense, and passionate. I left her office and knew I had to have Sari represent me! I signed a retainer in September and by the first week in December, my divorce was final. This had been dragging on for two years due to procrastination by my ex husbands attirney which went unchallenged by my previous attorney. Sari and Andrea were both amazing - professional, responsive, aggressive, and got me an outcome that made me cry (happy tears) - better than I thought possible. The office staff is also amazing - very nice, accommodating. I had some traffic violation issues while traveling in upstate New York. Attorney Kevin Kearon was generous and patient with both his knowledge and time on multiple occasions. He spoke with me numerous times over the phone and advised me on how to navigate most effectively through the process and the system that included dealing with New York State as well as an out of state traffic issue. I would highly recommend him for dealing with traffic issues and, while I hope I won't need his services again in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again if needed.
