Jill Stone is money hungry, has more regard for her ridiculous hair style than here clients. Extremely dismissive of women in need trying to leave an abuser. Only to run into her abusive arms. She says all the right things at first. Till your billable hours are almost triple of what they should be. Not only that, but after asking around Long Island and doing research on her cases I discovered she enables both of her sons (Josh and Troy) to get away with criminal actions such as, fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, harassment, mental abuse and many other criminal acts. What’s scarier is Troy Stone is not only involved in criminal activity, but is an attorney for her firm as well. They should both be disbarred and reviewed by Nassau county bar association.

This woman is rude, nasty, dismissive a liar and BEYOND money hungry, she charges you for breathing. She will send you ridiculous bills be aware and will drain your retainer after one appearance: she is a scammer !!!! She will complicate your case just to charge you more. Doesn’t listen or want your best interest just all about money. Takes advantage of women in bad situations and is a horrible person.

Jill and Melissa we're confident and spoke amazing in front of the judge. She was thorough and guided me the whole way with patience and compassion as it was a hard time for my family and I. After Jill won us jurisdiction she made sure we settled on exactly what was best for my son and I for the present and the future. Never for a second did I doubt her and her abilities as my attorney.

Ms. Stone was hired as the attorney for the children for my divorce. She showed too much sympathy for my ex wife and didn't even focus on the best interest of her clients ( the children). At times, I felt like my ex-wife had two attorney's. My case dragged on for years and she allowed my ex (mommy) to use the children as pawns in the divorce. I finally was able to get a trial which was when Ms. Stone started to pay attention to how disturbing my ex's behavior can be. Now I have a great relationship with my children because I fought until the court would listen. Ms. Stone could have saved her clients a lot of lost time from their father and emotional stress if she acted swifter and sooner. I cannot recommend Ms. Stone to represent the best interests of your children. It would appear Ms. Stone may be best suitable at representing mother's.

I was recommended to Jill Stone and wound up being handed off to her lackey, Melissa Young. Neither did anything for me. She was constantly kidding around with my ex's attorney and most of the time, I didn't know whose side she was on. At first, she made it seem like I was in good hands because she was a working mother and both of the judges in our case (we had complaints in front of two separate judges) were both working mothers...(did I mention I was brought to court by my ex because I had to go back to work?) Anyway, I wound up settling on a lot of stuff out of court because I was not the least bit confident in her ability to win my case and I was deathly afraid of losing my children. Plus, it has been seven months since the papers were signed and I still have yet to see some of the money my ex owes me. Ms. Young keeps telling me there is a back-up in the court system...b.s. - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. All bark and no bite!

Jill Stone is an amazing lawyer. Not only did she win the case for me, but i recommended her to my two best friends also going through a divorce and she won there cases also along with custody of the children all matters. She also got my nephew out of jail, and comes from a family of lawyers that are respected in New York as well through out the country. I highly recommend her to anybody who needs a down to earth lawyer.
