I was a victim of domestic abuse. The court served my ex with 2 OOPs (appx duration 15 mos.). After hiring Laura, I questioned her a few times about what I thought were dubious steps she was taking, or not. I was apprehensive about interfering with her job, so I did not go continue. However, I remained uneasy. In private, she excused matters in connection with the defendant. My ex was a 90% owner of a business, in which only he and I worked. No house. No children. He showed no assets. A court paper stated the reason for divorce - “no contest.” Months passed. I was concerned about the lack of progress in the divorce, as were many of Laura’s colleagues in the legal profession. I changed lawyers. A few days later, Laura’s secretary texted me that there was a court date in a day or two, to which I had no knowledge. My new lawyer and I arrived at the courthouse, but I was not allowed in the meeting. A short time later, my lawyer told me that the date was supposed to be a “pre-trial.” I was shocked beyond belief. I emailed Laura with questions, and the reason for a “pre-trial.” She refused to respond since she was no longer my attorney.

Laura is a fantastic lawyer! She represented me on a child support issue and got the job done. She is efficient, sweet and caring. I would highly recommend her.

my first lawyer i had to get rid of he was not that good. then a ray of sunhine that was laura. my overall rating for her is tops always kept me informed and explained everything i had no undersanding of in terms i would understand. she always looked out for my best intrest for my kids and me i will always be thankful for that . i would use laura for any family matters that comes up she is tops

I had a very difficult custody and divorce situation, as a man working long hours to provide for my kids. Laura and her very professional team were able to help me get my divorce and full custody of my wonderful children. They are very knowledgeable and always gave me the right advice, even when I didn’t want to hear it. I spoke with several law firms prior to retaining Laura, the main deciding factor for me was that they didn’t give me a sales job. I would definitely recommend Laura as a divorce attorney. Every step of my divorce went smoother because of Laura. She is knowledgable, patient, thorough and professional. I had so many questions and concerns. However, Laura covered every aspect of my divorce stipulation so thoroughly, I always felt I had excellent representation. She always put my mind at ease. I really appreciated that while representing me in the best way, she also tried to save me money when possible. Laura never "over billed" or dragged out any process for the sake of the bill.
