I had interviewed a number of attorneys before deciding on the Joseph Law Group. I immediately felt at ease speaking with them and had confidence they would do the right thing by me and my family. When Thomas Elliot was assigned to my case, it became even more clear that they were the right fit. Responsive, understanding, professional while still being real and caring, knowledgeable and reasonable are all words that come to mind! I understood what was happening every step of the way, I was advised appropriately, they pushed when they needed to and backed off when they should, they are well respected in the court system and community and I always felt as if I had a leg up during the process with them by my side. I could not be happier with the results and would recommend them to anyone who asked!

I wish I knew about reviews years ago now I somewhat rely on them to get a feel of a product or service I would spend money on I went to fathers rights meeting in which Sari once hosted. Spoke about everything a stay at home father wanted to hear in regards to custody and child support unfortunately I was scammed I ended up spending 20,000 dollars got nowhere better then when we started the court case Sari never represented me she only sent interns which were clueless, all they did was pass a message back and forth from the legal aid lawyer which put Sari firm to shame. I ended researching as much as I could online and fought for visitation and child support on my own I was able to reduce child support and restore my child visitation. Any one out there looking for family lawyer save your money find an affordable lawyer and do your own research assist your lawyer with want you learn as I have been through many lawyers and got nowhere but empty pockets . Suffolk county family court is very racist to color ethnicity. Be prepared to battle Will not recommend this firm just cause they have fancy office they really don’t know much Maybe Sari should be a salesperson All the fathers out there don’t give up on your child as it is very frustrating in dealing with the courts

Mr. McDonough is a seasoned, practical, renowned defender of attorneys in Professional Responsibility, Grievance and Ethics matters. He not only knows the laws and regulations, but also understands the practice of law, with a hands-on approach. He's spent decades working in the field, lectured extensively, and authored articles relating to these topics. Attorneys would do well to consider him, and be lucky to be able to get him to represent them. I consider him a true "counselor at law."

Hon David Ayres he is so genuine, professional ;and attentive the situation my husband has dealt with for the past 2 years, Never in my life would I ever thought wed be in a situation like we were, Having to find ourselves a Lawyer. but with that said, day 1 of walking into the office, it was a feeling of welcome, Our first encounter with David was warming where he immediately put us at ease. With Covid and the shut downs, it was the longest 6 months, Today, IS a breath of fresh air, Hon David Ayres from the start was with us 100% not to mention calling over the weekend sharing with us the outcome before our day in court ! knowing its done! Though I have commented here before, I am compelled to provide a further raving review for Mr. Epstein and his paralegal, Suzanne. They are so intimately familiar with every detail of their craft, that they were aware of an arcane rule permitting for a full license restoration well in advance of a court-mandated 6-month suspension. Even the supervisor at the DMV was unaware of this rule, but after several phone calls to the DMV headquarters by Mr. Epstein directly, the DMV supervisor finally agreed with his position and granted the full license restoration four months earlier than anticipated! I can assure you, no other lawyer would have been aware of this rule, which would have only served as a further detriment and limitation to myself for many more months. The value of the expertise maintained by this law firm (and this attorney in particular) is second to none and well-worth every penny. You really do get what you pay for, and your freedom is truly priceless. I wholeheartedly recommend them without reservation.

A family friend referred Tom Elliot to me from Joseph Law Group and from our first consultation I knew I was in the right hands. I was looking for an attorney that would listen to my concerns, keep me informed, fully explain everything to me, and be responsive to my emails and calls. My ex and I wanted to "separate with honor" and do all we could to treat each other fairly - which isn't the norm. I would highly recommend the Joseph Law Group. My attorney, John Whiteman, was very understanding of my situation and did everything to ensure I was well informed of the process and satisfied along the way. He always listened to my concerns and took the appropriate action. I really appreciated him being so open and honest. He was also very thorough and made sure nothing was missed. While everyone knows attorneys can be expensive, John explained what they do to try to save costs. To that point, he communicated with me, when necessary, but didn't waste time with frivolous items. His candor was appreciated. Divorce is not easy, but I am glad I had John to guide me through it, and most importantly achieve a timely and fair outcome.

It took me a lot of courage to write this review but at the same time it makes me nauseous and disgusted to think about how this firm sucked thousands of dollars from me in less than a year. Unreasonable and excessive fees is an understatement with this firm. I should not be charged just to set up an appt time to sign paperwork. And then to be charged again while I sit down and sign paperwork. To justify it ,on their end, they will have the attorneys talk about other matters in the case so they can detail their billing as such. Also, when a firm is charging this much to essentially lessen the stress in my life, at least they should get their paperwork accurate. “Cut and paste” from a previous clients motion is common and understandable, but at least get it right before I proofread it and before you charge me to correct your own mistakes. That’s just a few of the things I care to mention. Less than a year ( about 8 months) with this firm and I was coughing up $25,000. Plus other legal fees. Threats to no longer work my case were made to me, and pressure to take a pension loan or home equity loan was put on me as well. I quickly knew I had to find another attorney to handle my custody case and that’s what I did.
