Unfortunately, I didnt use this group because I was already into my Workers Comp case with another attorney. What a mistake I made. My attorney, John F from Garden City, In my opinion was awful yet he led me to believe he was the" right guy" for my case. He has a relationship working with my union, he said. What a mistake I made, I SAY ! When I spoke with Craig, for about 30 -40 minutes , he told me exactly what was going on with my case. He heard the same story from other clients. I was not in a position to " start over" with another firm. I had spent most of my savings in the 2 years of being out of work. I had a IME with a joke of a Dr in Lindenhurst. A appointed Dr that was a pain management DR. I have neurological issues from being electrocuted and this whack job was only concerned about my hands and spine. Needless to say, he said I was "fit to return to work" and I was denied coverage from my union. The insurance company, Magnacomp has dont nothing but complicate this injury. I have no one to blame but myself, I should have fired them and hired someone new. I spoke with numerous attorneys since my accident in August of 2020. They all ask the same questions, Why didnt they file a extension? Why didn't they appeal ? ETC, ETC ..... With COVID-19, limitations were extended and all that was needed was a notice to the courts. Im not a attorney , I am or was a electrician , still out of work for over 2 years. I still have the same health issues from this accident. All I know is, If you hired me for electric work at your house. I would give you 100% my best advice until you are happy and agree with the situation at hand. Today, Im still having issues with the insurance company denying my meds, PT and psycho visits. I make the phone calls but no one returns my calls. DONT SETTLE UNTIL YOUR READY! I WAS URGED TO SETTLE, BEST DEAL EVER! HA! FIND SOMEONE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH! I dont feel I got that , at all.
