I cannot say enough good things about Dara and everyone at Cheryl Stein Law. If you are a Realtor looking for an amazing attorney to partner with, or are in the housing market and want someone that keeps your best interests in mind please reach out to Dara! I send almost all of my clients to her, I know they will be taken care of every time. They are always so impressed by the efficiency and ease of the process and can tell that Dara and her team truly care. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I have used Cheryl Stein's office 3X over the last 10years, 2012, 2016 and 2021 from my Realtors recommendation. In 2012 when I purchased my first home, I worked with Cheryl herself, stellar 10/10. Absolutely professional and pleasant. Very happy. Fast fwd 4 years, I partly worked with her and a "legal assistant" Jenni. Cheryl was fine, Jenni was brutal. No hi, no pleasant small talk.. literally brought me to a table, left came back stood in the doorway, tossed a stack of papers across the table and told me to start signing.. very rude. I left annoyed. In 2021, I decided to sell my house again and used the same Realtor and ended up using this same office a 3X. Only this time, it was horrendous. Jokingly I told myself, I hope I dont get that Jenni again... cause deep down i'm like nah.. shes not there still.. no way. Well.. she was there.. infact that's who I dealt with during this whole ordeal. Absolutely horrible. Rude, wouldn't answer my questions, ignored emails and calls/voicemails. I had to call Cheryl herself several times as Jenni was so extremely difficult to work with. Finally went to sign off the papers because I was meeting Jenni, secretary I was greeted with was extremely rude, told me to go meet a Frank down the hall.. I left met with Frank who was stonefaced and made 0 small talk.. Just sign sign sign and get out. Several times on the paperwork, my last name was misspelled.. Frank put postit notes to have Jenni fix the errors and then off I went.. However... months went by.. I found out that my name was never corrected.. It was wrong with the town, was wrong on my title/deed. I fixed the town error, but have yet to deal with the error of my deed. Fast fwd a year after I closed.. I got a refund check of $7500 from my bank.. dumbfounded I went back to see why that was and apparently the previous owners of my house had an unpaid school tax that was finally paid prior to me closing, but was left on the town tax log from 2020/21, making my taxes $12K for a house which should have been 8. Apparently, when they(Jenni) was sorting out information they copied and pasted everything and I had to sort the mess out myself. A year after the fact. Fast fwd 2yrs.. I wish I was joking.. i'm not.. Got my tax bill back.. and I was short $3K. because the previous owner of my house was tax exempt. This fact was also never caught nor corrected. So 2 years after me closing I'm still dealing with BS that should have been dealt with by my Lawyer who i've hired 3X over. I didnt read the breakdowns correctly during 2021, because I was dealing with my mother in law's death, my dad's cancer battle, had to put a horse down and a cat and the over all stress of moving all within a few months. I was hoping that a company that I hired 3X over would be perfect like it was in 2012. Sadly it's not.. Cheryl needs to be more on the forefront and not background and she needs to fire Jenni. The most incompetent woman I have ever met/worked with. She has no business dealing with complex things like house closings when she screwed up my stuff several times over. I feel disgusted that I have to leave a 1 star rating for a company I worked with 3X in 10 years.. sadly.. it happened.

Mr. Wieser has been better than I could ever expect. I dare not say the many ways he has gone above and beyond, as that would be unfair to expect him to be this good to all his clients. I am so grateful for how much he (and Frank) have assisted me in my legal matters. I feel very blessed to have him representing me.

Cheryl's team helped me with the purchase of my home. Everything went off without a hitch, and my anxiety level stayed at zero during the entire process. I would absolutely use her again with any future real estate transactions.

I am a Real Estate agent and I refer many clients to Cheryl's office. It is important to me that a Real Estate Attorney focuses on real estate, and that is what they do here. Always professional and an advocate for my clients. Realtors should not hesitate to refer their clients to this office!

I have dealt with Ms. Stein for many years. She has always been very responsive. Her legal advice, expertise, and service has been exceptional.

This attorneys office was referred to us by our realtor. The entire process has been awful from start to finish. There is a serious lack of communication, professionalism & customer service in this office. The paralegal who was originally assigned to us quit or left so our file was transferred to Jenna mid preparation for our closing. We were not notified that our contact person changed & for over a week I was emailing a non-existent employee. I reached out to Cheryl Stein & no response from her either. I had to figure out on my own what was going on & who took over our case. Jenna acted like she was too busy for us & never did what she said she was going to do. I understand that some things cannot be controlled with a house closing & there can be delays, but she made no effort to do the things that could be done to move things along. She was full of excuses & never once showed any empathy for our frustration, let alone an apology for the confusion or constant delays. After I finally was able to get in contact with Cheryl, she seemed apologetic & said there would no further issues. That couldn't have been further from the truth as she just gave our case back to the same paralegal & the same continued. There are many attorneys for real estate in this area...skip this office trust me!
