Esther Swartz Zelmanovitz helped us write our wills, powers of attorney, etc. as well as setting up a family trust. Throughout this entire process Esther was thoughtful, caring and extremely attentive to our complex needs. We felt that this process was truly collaborative and met all our needs in an extremely timely fashion. We highly recommend her law firm.

These attorneys are simply awesome. We worked mostly with Esty Levinson, but also with Esther Zelmanovitz and they both walked us through the very complex process for my parents’ estate planning which included trusts, power of attorney, assets protection, Medicaid planning, etc., developing a legal strategy specifically for my parents needs. They explained everything clearly, with patience and compassion from the beginning, and also after my parents passed away. I just completed my estate planning with Esther Schwartz Zelmanovitz and Esther P. Levinson and the experience working with them was extremely pleasant. My will and estate planning was somewhat complex due to family relationships, children’s needs, financial issues, etc.…. The professionalism and courtesy they showed me along with their genuine concern for doing the right thing was apparent immediately and continued throughout the whole process. What was also abundantly clear was their patience for my questions and their ability to answer all of them in a timely manner in a way that I would be able to understand. I was never made to feel like I was bothering them with my questions. They started the process by asking about me, my wants, my concerns and what I was trying to accomplish. During this discussion they asked additional questions to address or clarify things that I had not addressed or even considered. Everything said during that initial conversation was their guiding star throughout the whole process and the final documents reflect all of this. After delivering to me my documents Esther and Esty took the time to walk me through the documents, page by page, explaining to me what everything meant. They also took the time to point out where my specific concerns and wishes were addressed. If, at any point during the process, there were options to be considered, both Esther and Esty took the time to explain the options and ramifications of each and advised on how each option corresponded back to my overall goals for my estate planning. I am confident in saying that, should anything happen to me, my estate is in order and my children will be cared for. Prior to going to Esther and Esty, I had gone to two other law firms who used boilerplate forms that they plugged my information into it and presented that to me as my estate planning. They never took the time to fully understand my situation and advise me on how to proceed. The worst part was when I started to ask questions about how things were being addressed or the meaning of things in the will, if I received a reply, I was made to seem like I was annoying them with my questions and concerns. The experience here was the opposite. I would unequivocally recommend Esther and Esty to anyone asking for a reference for an estate attorney.

I highly recommend the law firm of Esther Zelmanovitz. My husband and I worked with Esther and her wonderful associate Esther Levinson on matters concerning Elder Law and Estate Planning. They are professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable in all aspects of the law. They offered good advise in planning. I recently worked with Esty Levinson as she helped my 95 year old aunt revise and update her will. My family and I worked with Esther Levinson on a very complicated financial and legal situation for our brother who unexpectedly entered a nursing home.
