In 1948 our large family of 9, moved into our home in Great Neck Long Island, and over the years, we children moved to California, Vermont & Florida. Janet Esagoff is an aggressive, efficient and highly competent attorney. I decided to purchase a pre-owned vehicle in March 2020 (the height of the pandemic in NYC) after my previous vehicle (2006 GMC Envoy) was no longer drivable. Approximately 40 days after purchase, the car died on me. After more than 10 trips to the service department of the dealership where the car was purchased, as well as another certified dealership, the car was never fixed. After contacting several attorneys, who declined to take the case, I came across Ms. Esagoff of the Esagoff Law Group. She listened to my story, empathized with my plight, deduced that the case was a contract law issue and offered to assist with resolving the matter. Ms. Esagoff was professional, but aggressive in her interactions with the dealership. She provided strategic and tactical representation and demonstrated transparency about her fees. I am happy to report, the case was concluded in my favor and the dealership was ordered to re-purchase the defective vehicle (pay off remaining balance to lienholder) and refund all expenses associated with it (repair costs, car payments, insurance, down payment, etc).
