Attorney Emily Bermudez was my amazing divorce attorney. She led me through a very scary and painful time with such grace, dignity, and respect. This was a very terrifying situation for me to be in. She talked me off of the ledge repeatedly with her knowledge of the law and loving guiding direction. Calmed all my fears and wiped some tears as well. I honestly don’t know how I could have made it through this process without her! I am forever grateful to this wonderful woman and her staff. My heart will always be grateful for Emily, my angel on earth!

Emily Bermudez is one of the BEST lawyers around. If you are looking for an upfront negotiator who can get the job done, well she is the person for the job! I started my divorce process in August of 2019. Due to the pandemic things were slowed down but it started up again in 2021. The lawyers , yes lawyers, I had prior to Mrs. Bermudez were NOT, defending me against my ex at all but allowed me to be demonized in the courtroom with false allegations from his attorney. This caused the judge to have a bad perception of me that did not represent who I was as a Mother, teacher, and overall person. Money and time was wasted going back and forth as the attorneys I had were going head to head with Judge Leo who is not for anyone’s games or egos. My case once again fell in the hands of another lawyer who happened to have been Mrs. Bermudez, in the winter of 2022. By the spring she was already able to accomplish what the previous lawyers could not in the 2.5 years I had them. In 2 months she was able to advise me and weigh out my options and negotiate with a combative lawyer. Financially, Mrs. Bermudez worked with me as thousands and thousands was already spent with NO results from those who vowed to represent me prior to her. She found favor with the courtroom due to being humble and knowing her stuff. She is knowledgeable and worked well with the AFC who was already assigned to my children. She is an AMAZING, communicator who keeps you in the loop as she works things out for you. For the first time I felt safe and well represented in the courtroom, to the point the judge saw me in a different light. I prayed for a lawyer who would turn things around for me. Not only was I in the process of having my divorce finalized, she also guided me with being better at communicating with my ex on the behalf of our children. To this day the father of my children and I have a better relationship when it comes to speaking about what is best for our children. We went from not speaking at all to actually listening to what each other is saying and making choices that will benefit our children. I was never able to do that on my own and was very open and honest with Mrs. Bermudez with my shortcomings. If you are looking for a lawyer who knows their stuff and can negotiate with the toughest people out there, well look no further because Mrs. Bermudez and her firm will be the STRONG, mouthpiece that you need who will defend you and WIN in your favor.
