My ex-husband served me with papers to amend our child support agreement. I was blind sided. I had to find a lawyer - fast. Ms. Goody was recommended to me by a former neighbor who is also a lawyer. She originally told me the fee was $1500 (which in itself is a lot of money to me), and that she was almost positive she would be able to easily work this out with my ex's lawyer and that we would not have to go to court. then I had to find out from my ex-husband (NOT from Ms. Goody) about our upcoming court date; then I had to pay Ms. Goody an additional $750 to cover the court costs; and then, when the court visit went an hour longer than she thought it would (even though I got there an HOUR before she even showed up), she dared to charge me over $400 for that additional hour of standing around in court. And then after all that, my ex husband didn't even pay me the agreed-upon amount, until about 6 weeks later, after I continually badgered him for the money.

I hired Ms Goody in July 2016...I feel her and her firm did not do efficient work on my divorce case to have me pay them over 30,000.00 in attorney fees...during the case she kept pushing me to disclose money I had received from a personal injury lawsuit and the began to drain me of that money by threatening me to pay her on a constant basis or she would not proceed to do any work on my divorce case. I eventually released her because of all the money that was drained from me and I went pro sa during a trial ( she only appeared for a few hours 1st day of trial) with absolutely no help from her only to find out in the end that the opposing attorney had tried to come to an agreement on many occasions with her and that she neglected to share this information with me. At this time, She is still trying to collect more money from me even though I have already paid her 30,000.00 ..my case has settled with me pro sa, best move I ever made...

Ms. Goody is a true professional who gets results. She is hard working and very detail oriented. She is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the law and will work countless hours to get the job done. She explains things to make them understandable and never gives up.
