This man is patient, attentive, caring, concerned. My lawyer before was not good at all , and the care I receive in my case was unimaginable. I even won my case because of David . Great would recommend him anytime.

I heard about David through a family friend a while back after getting a DWI on New Years eve a few years back and needless to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. Upon contacting David for services, he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and experienced. I quickly hired him as my lawyer and he made sure to keep me informed throughout the process with regards to costs, what to expect, and what it will take to overcome. Needless to say, the outcome was exactly as he told me it would be and everything worked out in the end! Highly recommend David!

If I could I would leave this Law Firm zero Stars please do not go here this woman isnt a good lawyer and unreliable! she's a liar and I wouldn't want someone else going through what I went through from this Law Firm. I waited three years for this lady to tell me she can't take my case anymore and to leave me hanging with six months left to settle or I wouldn't be able too. She lied about my case... she never investigated I thought I could trust her and her firm but I was wrong. Now after 3 years my lawsuit wasn't even filed with her she lied about a lot of Investigation information for the case and she left me with nothing! please if you want to win and Trust a lawyer that's going to help you do not come here she will let you down like she let me down and my family down . Please go find another Firm!! You will regret it.

In my profession I deal with estate attorney's daily. I can say Janet and David are probably the top two attorneys I have dealt with. They are professional, courteous, and have passion. A good percentage of times estate attorney's are called when a family health crisis has arisen and time is of the essence. David and Janet and the Barton Law Group get that, understand that, and really make sure the are working with you, you feel they are working for your urgent needs, and assisting the best they can! I strongly recommend anyone in need of estate planning or use them, and do it sooner so time is not of the essence.

I first met David at about 10 pm on holiday after spending almost 22 hours in jail accused of driving while intoxicated. Unknown to me at the time, my husband had hired David earlier that day after receiving a recommendation from our family attorney. Without hesitation, David accepted the case and came to criminal court in Manhattan to defend me on that holiday night. I have never been in a criminal court room, much less a defendant in a criminal proceeding, and I was scared and clueless as to what was going on. All I did know was that I had been up for over 24 hours, without a shower and sitting next to people charged with much more serious crimes than me. David handled the arraignment flawlessly. Because I had a high “blow”, the ADA was only offering a misdemeanor, 2 days of community service, a 6 month suspended license and an ignition interlock device on my car. That night David rejected their offer and afterwards explained the strategy he would use to convince the ADA that a misdemeanor was an excessive plea given my age, (read: Mature lady) and the fact that I have never been involved in a criminal proceeding. Well, it took several months, 2 postponements and calls to the ADA, her supervisor, and the lead ADA for both misdemeanors and felonies to get them to re-consider their offer. This was the hard, behind the scenes work that David did for me! Of course, there was no guarantee that David would be successful, but I felt very comfortable that David had the experience and the ability to argue for a reduced offense. In the end, David was successful, the charge was reduced to a violation, I had my license suspended for just 90 days and the community service was eliminated from my plea. I could not be happier with the work that David did for me. He is great guy that was fully engaged on my behalf with extensive court room experience, (he was also an ADA in the Bronx for many years). David has a keen mind and a friendly person.

Words cannot express how grateful I am having had David help me with a false allegation my ex-girlfriend made against me. It's very easy to communicate with him, regardless of your schedule. He always answers your texts and emails and returns your calls if he's temporarily unavailable in a timely manner. Also, rest assure that he will fight for you until the end and will never give in. Dave, thank you again for everything you've done for me. You're the best damn attorney in New York City!

When I got arrested at 3:00 am I called my brother from the holding cell at 5:30 am and he immediately conferenced David on the line. As soon as I spoke to him he alleviated all my fears and told me what to expect for the next few hours. When he arrived he was able to negotiate my felony down to a violation and I was out of there in a flash. His contact information definitely needs to be shared with family and friends in case of emergency.
