Luke helped me avoid a criminal record not once but TWICE - for two separate crimes. He was non-judgmental, patient, and didn't promise but just guided me along with the process. I was arrested for shoplifting, and Luke promptly got an ACD, which would have meant that I would have no criminal record. But only a few months later I was accused of shoplifting AGAIN - from a different store in the same county. I couldn't afford to have a criminal record - and Luke did everything he could to help me achieve my goal. He worked on unconventional approaches, reached out to the prosecutor many times, and ultimately, secured a sealed record with no conviction! He also helped me find help in the process. He is great ！I am so appreciate that he is got me out of that，and i would never do that again！

If could not imagine a better experience with a lawyer than having Luke represent me for a DWI charge. Being 21, feeling scared, and having no prior criminal history, I didn't know where to turn. I also was in a very tight financial spot, and was denied public defense. How could I represent myself? It seemed everything was against me, the police officers, prosecutor, and judge scared me into thinking I would go to jail and thus be a criminal. Meeting and checking in frequently, he fought for me through a difficult hearing, and secured a non-criminal offer with no incarceration. Perhaps most helpful and amazing was his willingness to try the case despite my difficult financial circumstances. He was more than patient, receptive and excellent through and through. I hired Luke for a Felony DWI following a car accident. This was my second felony within 10 years. Needless to say, I needed help - legally and personally. Well, I ended up finding both through Luke. I was looking at possible prison and the DA wanted at least 6 months in jail, with 5 years probation. I told Luke that if I was on probation and couldn't drive I would lose my full time job. He didn't promise a specific result, but told me how he would work to get what I wanted. I stopped drinking, attended AA meetings, and got right involved in treatment. By following his instructions, I insured the safety of the public, as well as kept myself safe, while I built up some serious sobriety, while he worked to negotiated a plea bargain. In the end, EVEN THE DA AND THE JUDGE RECOMMENDED A CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE, and not probation. The Judge said this was "very unusual" but we got it. I kept my driving privileges - unheard of in my county. All things being considered, I couldn't be more pleased. He doesn't beat around the bush, he is dead serious when it comes to ensuring the safety of the public and he does care about you. Don't expect to be coddled, just listen, follow his instructions, and make a decision to change the course of your life and he will come through for you. A family member in law enforcement recommended Luke after seeing him represent a serious DWI. I am very glad that I found Luke, and I would recommend him to any person facing a serious DWI.

Luke took the time to get to know me and did everything that he could to help my case. He did a phenomenal job and updated me throughout the process. I retained Luke for Title IX defense at a local College. What first impressed me about Luke was that he encouraged me to go out and "shop around" for other attorney's before signing a retainer with him. As someone who has never needed a lawyer my entire life, this demonstrated his professionalism and desire to not just take my money. I would recommend the services of Luke Fenchel to anybody in need of a criminal defense attorney. He was very unconventional at first and definitely took some getting used to, but I came to realize there’s a method to his madness.
