If you are getting a divorce in Queens, you must call Deborah. Full stop. I had an extremely complicated and contentious case in Queens, and thank god I found her in Yelp when I searched for top rated divorce attorneys. I got the BEST POSSIBLE outcome in my case, thanks to her knowledge of the law, her vast experience with the Queens court systems, and her ability to read people, the court, and the whole situation to come up with the best strategy possible. Besides her law expertise and 40 years of experience in divorce cases, Deborah really knows how the Queens court system works, and vast experience dealing with the judges there. She often can tell me how the judge will rule on a motion base on her experience, saving me time and money by sending me down only fruitful paths. Deborah is also amazingly responsiveness – I dealt with some high volume law firms where I routinely wait a week before they return a phone call or email, but with Debbi, I seem to get response from her with hours, if not minutes. Sometimes in the middle of the night. Going through a divorce is a stressful and dark time in your life. You need a lawyer who is not only highly competent, but also compassionate and caring so you feel supported and reassured during upsetting situations. Debbi is such a warm and kind soul that really helped me through this difficult time in my life. In fact, my case evolved into multiple litigations where Debbi was able to bring in her network of attorneys with expertise in other specialty areas to devise a comprehensive legal strategy. Last but not least, she is also very cost effective and conscientious in her billing. Beside her billing being very reasonable, she is particularly careful to recommend only actions that are really necessary and effective, getting results while minimizing cost. When I found Debbie, I was 3 months into a custody battle with my ex. Given terrible and very limited visitation on the advice of the firm I retained before Debbie too. I spent a lot of time going through superlawyers, Google, and reading profiles like AVVO and then I came across Debbie's bio. When I spoke to her, I knew I had found the right person, someone trustworthy and who could understand, so I retained her on the spot. Debbie is absolutely the best! I was in such agony and didn't know what to do with my marriage. I went to Debbie and right away she answered so many questions and addressed my concerns.
