Hung up on me after telling me he couldn’t take my case

Our experience with Martin Kane was nothing short of outstanding. He was personable, always available, and kept us informed of all details every step of the way through a stressful process. If you need someone to represent the law regarding criminal charges that affected you in an airport, he is the one to call. After reading other reviews, I can only say that I completely agree with his exemplary knowledge of gun laws. I would not hesitate to recommend Martin.

What else can I say about Mr. Kane that hasn’t already been said? I can promise you my review is not fake in any way. From the moment I hired Mr. Kane he was very knowledgeable about NYC gun laws and immediately dropped my anxiety. I was facing some extremely tough punishment for what was a very simple misunderstanding of the local gun laws in NYC. Not only did he get the two charges against me completely dismissed , he was able to reduce it to a non-criminal charge and a moderate fine. I never even had to appear once in court! I live in Arizona so this saved me tons of money. His fees are very reasonable and he always answered my calls or emails with the utmost professionalism and respect. I hope to god I never have to hire him again but if I do I would not hesitate to.

As a licensed New York State pistol permit holder (target / hunting) I thought I knew the proper procedure of transporting a firearm out of the New York City airports. On 3/24/19 I quickly learned I was in violation of possessing a loaded firearm (weapon was unloaded and packaged perfectly in a locked pelican case) while at JFK Terminal 4. The situation ultimately resolved itself. I will say the Port Authority Police Officers handled themselves in a authoritative and professional manner. I contacted Martin Kane for advice and he was "johnny on the spot". To all traveling (especially non NY residents) through JFK or LGA be aware New York City gun laws "Trump" all other state and Federal gun laws. If you find yourself in need of legal assistance while in the City there is no better firm to represent "gun owners" than the Law Office of Martin Kane.

I am a person who never write reviews but this time I definitely want to share my feedback about Mr.Martin. He is really honest, down to earth, knowledgeable and kind as a person.He charges very minimal fee compared to other law firm. He deserves to be paid higher as he genuinely helps people without any bias and racists. I like the way he work professionally and deal with the people, especially needy low income people. I highly recommend him especially to the Asian people.

Mr. Kane is an intelligent and resourceful lawyer. He is knowledable and caring. Mr. Kane has helped my family on numerous occasions and I am very grateful. You cannot go wrong with him as your attorney.

Mr. Kane is extremely knowledgeable about the law. He always took the time to talk with me and explain things about my case from our first phone conversation to my court appearance.
