I contacted Friedman & Simon over 17 years ago when my son was 2yrs old, they helped me resolve my son's case back then. Due to circumstances we weren't able to deposit the check and now that my son is 19yrs old he can cash the check but needed a new one, so I had to contact Mr Friedman in order to get a replacement check.Even though it has been a long time since the settlement, Mr Friedman took the initiative to help us out and jump through what ever hoops he had to in order to get my son his check, we received it from Mr Friedman himself. To quote the partner I just spoke to (4/21, 3:07 PM) (Mr. Simon I think it was), "i'm sorry, it would be an uphill battle...look, we are in the business of helping people" - that's when I curtly said goodbye and discontinued the call.....let me translate his words that reflect more of the reality of what motivates this organization (I'm a physician expert in neuropsychiatry, fwiw)....., what he really meant was: "if we are SURE we will make money off the case, then we'll be more than happy to help you sir!". It's quite repulsive, to me, that someone has the audacity to unflinchingly say such a thing (endorsing motivation to help people) to someone that has taken an oath to heal/help/serve other human beings.
