I've watched a lot of TV and online commercials about personal injury law firms. After thinking about the fact that these firms need a local attorney near your county to handle your case, I thought, why not choose a "Local" attorney near where I live who is familiar with my county court, has a good local community reputation, someone more trustworthy instead of some mystery lawyer the "Big TV Firms" would choose for me. I chose John DeGasperis because of his local "Word of Mouth" and his office being near my workplace. He was easy to talk with about my accident and injuries. He and his people handled all the required documentation in my case, leaving me free to take care of my injuries without worrying about that aspect. His people are thoughtful and extremely professional. They kept me informed of the progress of my case all along the way. John was always straight with me, never building up unrealistic expectations. He was always sensitive to any concerns I had along the way to my eventual settlement which turned out to be six months sooner than the two years he predicted my case might take. I highly recommend John DeGasperis to anyone who needs a personal injury lawyer because he gets the job done and does it well.

John DeGasperis represented me after I fell in a sidewalk hole in Rhinebeck. He did an excellent job and I received more than I thought. I also did not have to go to trial. My daughter, an attorney in MN, also thought he was excellent. John was thoughtful, responsive, knowledgeable and actually predicted the course of the trial. This relieved a lot of anxiety. I highly recommend John and hopefully I will never have to use him again--but I would in a second.

I called at least thirty lawyers and no one was willing to answer the call because of the potential difficulties with the case . I was very frustrated but was relieved when Mr Basch took the case .
