My girlfriend and I recently utilized Monthie Law Firm in the purchase of our first home. Specifically, we worked with Phillip. For the duration of the process, Phillip was a consummate professional. He diligently worked behind the scenes in support of this purchase. Phillip was always available by phone or email and responded quickly. He asked us important questions to make sure we were getting both the experience and home we desired. Often, he would make beneficial suggestions based on both personal and professional experience in purchasing a home. We discussed ways to save money both before and after acquisition of the home. (Interest Rate buy downs, STAR credits, etc.) He opened our eyes to these money saving opportunities and assuaged any fears we had. Even when I would have a series of long questions for him, Phillip always took the time to patiently explain every nuance and aspect he could think of. He would then confirm everything made sense. As first-time home buyers, we felt incredibly at ease and confident with Phillip – in that he knew what he was doing and had our best interest at heart. Philip always advocated for the process or choice that was advantageous to US – never to himself, never to his firm, and never because it was 'easier' for him or the firm. It was apparent to us that he was truly in our corner every step of the way. At the time of closing, Phillip arrived on time and prepared. He explained everything we were signing before we signed it and answered any clarifying questions we had. I always felt I had his full attention and that he had a mutual level of concern as we for the purchasing process. Phillip actively engaged with our real estate agent to solve problems and find answers for us. We could not be happier with our home and with our decision to utilize the services of the Monthie Law Firm. Phillip is a gentleman and a diligent worker. We could tell that he was passionate about both his work and his clients, and we cannot be more appreciative. I would recommend Monthie Law Firm for any legal needs that fall under their areas of expertise. If we purchase another home in the area again, I will be sure to reach out to Phillip and Monthie Law Firm. They truly made us feel special during an important, albeit stressful, time of our lives. 5/5 Stars. Buying a first home can be a confusing and daunting task. Phil was an amazing advocate for us throughout the process. He communicated well and often with all parties involved. On top of it he was easy to reach, explained what was happening every step of the way, and even helped us through a last minute issue while he was out of the office. Highly recommend!
