I used Heidi for my divorce. I found her to be professional, hard working, empathetic, thorough and efficient. I felt very confident that she had mine and my daughters best interest in mind. The process was quick and clean. Divorces can be very messy, fortunately mine was not. I recommend Heidi whole heartedly and without reservation.

Ms. Bernstein navigated us through the family court process with as little grief as possible. She was an advocate for us in dealing with the other party’s criminal and manipulative actions. She was constantly on the case and updating the information needed to present the best case possible. I highly recommend Ms. Bernstein for her ability to deal with difficult and involved cases.

I went to Ms Applebaum for a child support case that my ex husband was years in arrears. She was professional as well as compassionate. During the work up for the case and the trial began, my ex husband passed away in the middle of the trial. Ms. Applebaum refused to accept any payments from me even though she had already invested her time on trial. I feel her expertise and knowledge regarding matrimonial and child support were way above any lawyer i have ever consulted in the past. I highly recommend Ms. Applebaum for all areas of her discipline.

When I was devastated by my ex-husband and left with two young children, Heidi was instrumental in helping me to obtain protection orders and swiftly get me divorced in six months. I always recommend her to anyone that asks if I have a recommendation.

Heidi was recommended by a good friend when i needed a lawyer to get a child support order in place from my ex husband. She felt more like a friend than my lawyer. Also, her associate Colleen was truly amazing, as well. They were there to answer all of my questions and concerns . Heidi was a true blessing. I highly recommended her.

My divorce/custody battle developed into a nightmare that my first atty was not up for. After two years of torture, I found Heidi Bernstein who was able to stand up against the incompetent bully representing my ex and put an end to the misery resulting in a reasonable settlement. As an atty myself, I should have known to do this sooner but when it's your own life, it is hard to see objectively.
