We realized Mom's living trust was not enough protection and needed a law firm that would help us through the many questions we had and steer us in the right direction. My brother-in-law recommended Genser Dubow after having used them for his own family. Marcus O'Toole and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Turn around time for the papers to be created was swift and complete; the staff were friendly and patient in resolving any issues and questions we had. Marcus and his staff treated my mother with the utmost kindness and respect, knowing undoubtedly how difficult this would be for an elderly person to have to sit through. This earned them an extra gold star. The fee was competitive and reasonable with no surprise fees added on the last bill. I would highly recommend them.

Best experience we've had with a lawyer -- and we've had many. My family has been involved in a protracted Guardianship for my mother, which has been frustrating and stressful especially when dealing with courts and other lawyers who don't know what they are doing. We were referred to Genser Law to help sort things out. Roseanne Beovich and her team are true Pros. Roseanne created a strategy and within a few months not only had the Guardianship been settled, but Estate planning, POA, Healthcare Proxy, etc, were also now in order. She went above and beyond -- I'm not sure where we would be today if we were not fortunate enough to meet. Our family couldn't be more pleased with this firm.

The worst experience of my life this lawyer is soooo unprofessional and disrespectful. He doesn't care about your case and lie every second to by his self time . He will charge fees without prove all he mention paper he request when all the paper work he makes you provide them all. After a week he will ask for the same paper again. He never follow up nor nor calling. When you call you can't get in touch with no body and finally when you finally in touch with him he is on vacation. Worst experience ever.

My husband and I went to update our estate planning documents and worked with Marcus O'Toole. He was knowledgeable and very patient with us as we kept fine tuning a complicated trust he created for us. He kept us informed along the way as to the progress he was making and he responded timely to our questions and comments. We attended an informative program offered by the firm about senior living options and learned a great deal. I can confidently recommend them.

Genser Dubow Genser & Cona has been my family’s go-to law firm for all elder care and estate planning issues for over 7 years now. In 2011, my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Melissa and the Genser firm helped us navigate through complicated financial decisions and ultimately got us approved for NYS Community Medicare that allowed us to get a round the clock home health care for my dad until his passing in 2014. Since then, Melissa and all of the professionals at the Genser firm have continued to advise my family on trusts and estates issues and have always been responsive, knowledgeable, and strategic in their approach. I cannot say enough about the attention and care we have received from the Genser firm. Knowing that they are in our corner gives my entire family great comfort and ease of mind.

I contacted Genser Dubow regarding my mother's estate planning. Not only did I find them professional and through, I was extremely pleased with how they interacted with my mother. I found them attentive to her needs and thoughts and explained things to her in an easy to understand manner. I would most certainly use them again.

Good firm, but very expensive. May not make sense for estates of less than $10-15 million.

Best attorney's ever. Always do their best to make sure you are comfortable. Gives you updates and keep you informed. Very knowledgeable. Great staff. David Genser was my first attorney when I had my car accident. Now I am using their service again over 15 years later. Partners Jack Genser and Howard Dubow are also great. Make you feel you are special. Wouldn't go to anyone else.
