LEEDS BROWN Attorney Sean O'Hara disappointed me tremendously with how he handled my case. I WOULD NEVER USE SEAN O'HARA OR LEEDS BROWN LAW AGAIN IN A MILLION YEARS!!!! My case was settled at a much lower rate than I could have or should have received. SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS WERE LEFT ON THE TABLE!! For example, every time I wanted to raise the settlement amount during negotiations, Sean O'Hara kept discouraging me by playing up the negatives and fears that my former employer might pull the offer off the table altogether (something companies rarely do). O'Hara also ignored my numerous requests to have the former employer pay for my legal fees (a standard request in many cases). But NOOO, ATTORNEY O'HARA REFUSED TO ASK MY FORMER EMPLOYER TO PAY FOR MY LEGAL FEES. HE KEPT DOWNPLAYING AND DISMISSING THE IDEA -- NEVER BOTHERING TO FOLLOW MY REQUEST TO ASK THE COMPANY (WHICH I HAVE PROOF OF IN WRITING). AS A RESULT, THE LEEDS BROWN LEGAL FEES CUT HEAVILY INTO MY SETTLEMENT AMOUNT!! When I thought about firing LEEDS BROWN LAW, Attorney O'Hara kept using the fear tactic that....if I switched to another law firm, his fees would be subtracted from any future settlement. In closing, most disturbing is the fact that during a FEE DISPUTE RESOLUTION HEARING this year, Attorney O'Hara (while under oath O'Hara, a former Marine) lied and mislead the Panel deciding my fee dispute, falsely giving them the idea that he was trying to negotiate all along (during my case) to have my legal fees paid by the former employer. THE BOTTOM LINE: THIS SITUATION COMBINED WITH O'HARA'S POOR NEGOTIATING COST ME LITERALLY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!! Several months ago, I previously contacted Firm Partner JEFF BROWN, BUT HE WAS NOT HELPFUL IN RESOLVING MY COMPLAINTS OR GIVING AT LEAST A PARTIAL REFUND. JEFF BROWN WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN THE SELF PRESERVATION OF HIS FIRM, BY HAVING ME REMOVE MY PREVIOUS NEGATIVE ONLINE REVIEW OF LEEDS BROWN LAW!!!!

Mr. Harvey Fox is hands down the best lawyer you can find in New York for your legal needs. We contacted Mr. Fox after we closed on a house in Mineola to evict an illegal tenant and later for village building violation. Case 1: The case was a complex eviction case as the illegal tenant was a real-estate agent who knew all the legal loopholes to delay eviction as much as possible. We contacted Harvey on 14/12/2017 and he had the tenant served with a legal notice in 2 hours, that was super impressive to us when other attorneys were saying it will take about 1+ week to serve the tenant. When the tenant refused to leave, Harvey took the matters to the landlord-tenant court and after few days of back and forth with the tenant, got her to sign an agreement to move out soon. We were very impressed with how he handled and took care of us all through this terrible experience. Case 2: The outgoing illegal tenant complained to the village building department that she was an illegal tenant and that we are collecting rent. Though the previous owner rented out the place, as per the law even if you don't collect the rent/in-process of eviction, the fines will be on the new owner. We contacted Harvey again due to his excellent reputation and knowledge to help us to fight the village. The village wanted $16,000 as a fine for the violations and Harvey got it down to $1800 to just one charge instead of 8 violations(because of the previous owner). He fought with the Village attorneys hard and was about to take the case to a trial when they settled. Mr. Fox still went a step further and reduced his fees to make it easier for us to pay the fine. If you are looking for a real-estate/Landlord-Tenant/ligations, look no further Mr. Harvey Fox is the person you want in your team. He is super smart, super efficient and best of all, knows what he's doing unlike other attorney's who take you for granted. I will be happy to recommend him to any of my family and friends. Lerner and Lerner Let me start by stating we called Lerner and Lerner on a Sunday afternoon of a long weekend, and received a call back from Richard Lerner in a few minutes. (Amazing) He listened to our situation and made us an appointment with Kimberly Lerner for the following day. Kimberly was extremely friendly made us feel at ease. Her knowledge of the court system was very impressive. Not only did Kimberly get the sentence reduced to a traffic ticket, she got the other charges dropped. I am sure we will never need Kimberly’s expertise again, but I would highly recommend the services of Lerner and Lerner to anyone that find themselves in tough spot, Lerner and Lerner is the only law firm you will need.
