I highly recommend John A. Colonna. Great and easy to work with, highly efficient and helpful. Accommodating and responsive to your needs. He explains everything in detail and especially if it is your first time working with a lawyer, he can make the process a better learning experience. His assistants Agnes and co. are also very efficient and cooperative to work with. Everyone was also very nice which means allot in this industry.

John Colonna and his assistant Agnes were professional. Mr. Colonna explained to me page by page of the contract before I signed it. We had little issue with scheduling closing, but Agnes and Mr Colonna pulled it off and we were able to close it on time. On the day of the closing, Mr. Colonna explained to me all the documents that I had to sign and provided me with a folder with all the documents that I need for my record. The closing was smooth. I recommend Mr. Colonna’s service to anyone who is selling or buying a property.

We just sold our home and used John as our attorney. I highly recommend John!!! He has many years of experience and knows what he is doing. I felt confident and extremely comfortable knowing that John was taking care of everything. Before we signed the contract, he went over the entire document with us explaining line by line what everything meant. He listened carefully to our questions and explained everything clearly. Most important, I knew that John was looking out for us to make sure everything went well. His secretary Agnes was also fantastic. She and John both answered my emails and text immediately. At the closing he explained everything to us and checked everything over a few times to make sure everything was correct. We didn't have to worry about anything. I could tell that he knew what he was doing and that he pays close attention to every detail. You will leave the closing with a nice folder containing copies of all the documents you might ever need! You won't go wrong with John Colonna!!!

Our family has used John as our real estate attorney numerous times over the years. He has been very professional & helpful at all times, dealing with anything we have asked for on a timely manner. You would not know a good legal service until you are handled by John protecting your best interest against a very difficult opponent. My first hand experience on how he handled the purchase agreement up until closing the property we just recently bought in Rego Park. It is a very good example on how he had protected our interest, stood for us on what is fair and just, made it happen in quiet dignity and Grace amidst the profanity on the other side without stooping down on their level. He will not say it in public of course but as recent clients, we are free to say it out loud in any venue such as this platform. To say the least, this is not just exercising our freedom of speech but saying our appreciation to John and his people. I am from Las Vegas and never had experience of buying RE in NYC where purchase transaction is handled by lawyers on both buyer and seller side. In addition to this, we encountered a lot of difficulties that was too much to bear based on whims and delaying tactics on the seller’s part. It was a long arduous process that took more than four months to close from the time we made an offer. Inside my mind, I have quit several times and given up. Details is too much to share here. The fee that we paid John is pittance to the kind of service he accorded us. I worked for one of the biggest law firms in WA state as a Controller a few years ago so I know what a good lawyer stands for. Ethical, fair, dignified, professional, knowledgeable, and most especially represents his clients at its best and never give up: this exemplifies John Colonna. I truly appreciate him. If I will be given another chance to buy RE in NYC, there is no denying he will handle it. The peace of mind he can give me as a client is all worth it and priceless. -Luz
