Was in some hot water and initially hired someone different then collins. Was not happy with their urgency and what they were doing. I dropped them and hired collins and right away he went to work for me and In the end got me the best possible result. Would for sure recommend to anyone.

Very professional and succeeded expectations

Sometimes legal matters arise out of nowhere, and it can be daunting to find the "best" lawyer for your particular case. In Nassau County, the best criminal defense lawyer is Mr. Gerard McCloskey. When I went to his office to consult him about my case, from the moment he walked in, he had a very commanding presence yet was very amicable and approachable. I explained my case to him and told him my profession, and he immediately recognized that I would settle for nothing less than a case dismissal. So, he went over his legal strategy to get that result going from the best to worst case scenarios, and I immediately retained him. Court dates, while I was waiting outside in the hallway watching the other people, I noted that Mr. McCloskey seemed much more sharply dressed and groomed than most of the other attorneys because appearances do matter. I would expect my attorney to understand this because I too wore a suit and tie every time and tried to look well groomed. Prior to every court date, I would call his office to check for updates, and he would promptly return my phone calls. Then after each appearance, he would explain what was discussed when he and the DA's office conferenced and his predictions for the next court date. Due to his firsthand experience with the DA's office, Mr. McCloskey always seemed to be accurate with his predictions, and I would regularly know what to expect well in advance of each court appearance. Fortunately for my particular case, I was able to get the best [maybe even better than best??] case scenario Mr. McCloskey had already predicted without him even needing to file any motions. As a result, my case was dismissed, and I'm so thankful for being represented by Mr. McCloskey. He is definitely an 11 out of 10 star lawyer.

From the first meeting I could tell everyone at the firm were great people with strong legal expertise.
