I hired Mr. Terezakis in 2017 after my husband received a warrant to be detained. I remember calling their office so frantic and scared. Fabiola was able to help me locate which detention center he was taken to. George was able to get my husband released on bail and through their efforts my husband received approval for cancellation of deportation, and once a visa becomes available, my husband will be safe in this country as a permeant resident. A huge burden has been lifted from our shoulders. My husband's case was very complex and George's expertise in criminal defense law and immigration was a life saver. We hired Mr. Terezakis in 2016 when my husband at the time boyfriend was arrested by ICE while on probation after being convicted of defrauding the US government (an aggravated federal conviction) in 2012. At the time of the criminal case arrest my husband had only been a resident for nearly 2 years which made his case so much harder, he didn’t qualify for any of the relief available to those who have been residents for over 5 years, there was no hope for him. When ICE took him the world came crashing down, our family and I were desperate not knowing what was going to happen to him, we had no idea where they had taken him, a friend of our provided us with Mr. Terezakis info and we contacted him promptly on Friday the same day my husband was taken, it was such a relief for us when Mr. Terezakis told us where my husband was being detained and the very next day he went to visit him. When we met Mr. Terezakis he was very honest about the situation and right from the start he told us that my husband case was going to be a very difficult one to fight considering his serious conviction and the short time he had been in the US. Despite these facts Mr. Terezakis decided to take his case which gave us hope. We trusted his knowledge and experience considering his background on criminal defense but most of all his compassion towards our situation, he was very honest and told us that there was not guarantee that our case was going to be successful. After 6 months Mr. Terezakis was able to get my husband released under bond. And we felt a huge weight off our shoulder to finally have him back with our family. Throughout these years Mr. Terezakis firm has been working diligently to win my husband case. They have been very understanding and we have appreciated how flexible they have been with offering us time to pay and charging us a fair price for their services. My deportation case was an extremely difficult one, where I was convicted of an aggravated felony when I was a teenager.
