I wish I could rate Sophia at a -0. This is the worst attorney I have ever encountered, she took advantage of my mother being inexperienced and trusting with real estate. I had the hire a second attorney to accomplish something that takes 30-60 days max regarding a foreclosed property, Ms. Trott astonishingly managed to dragged this out for two years and did absolutely nothing but take my mother’s money. I would sue her but I don’t even want to waste my time and energy with her incompetence and lackadaisical attitude another second. I have resolved things for my elderly mother with a new attorney and will let bygones be bygones. I am only taking the time to write this review to spare and warn anyone else even considering her for counsel for the simplest situation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND STRESS.

Dont get a divorce...get a attorney that will work on your behalf....

1.8 is too high. Should definitely be less, worked with this attorney, highly unreliable, misleading, and unprofessional. Look elsewhere if you need an attorney for anything important.

Professional, fair and compassionate lawyer Hired Ms. Trott for a family court case concerning visitation and custody. She was always understanding, and honest so we knew what to expect.

I as a physician and real estate investor highly recommend attorney Samuel to anyone looking for a reliable , competent and fair attorney who was immediately responsive to my needs. Attorney Samuel more than adequately represented my defense in what could have been a career reputation damaging case of mine of false accusations. On the real estate side attorney Samuel has more than adequately represented myself in many real estate attorney reviews and fully protected my interest as her client.

Ms. Samuels was referred by a Legal Service which is part of "my" employee benefit package, for the sale of a home. The home was owned by me & 2 sisters. In addition to the fee the Legal Service was paying, my sisters were charged an add'l $1,200 for the closing. We had a potential buyer, a few initial closing documents when back and forth from attorney to attorney. Within approx. 2 months, the deal fell through because the buyer could not get the mortgage. Once Ms. Samuels was informed of that, she informed me that she could no longer represent us with selling the house. No refund of any kind nor any referral. In my opinion, she made a quick $2,000.00 for doing almost nothing. That meant we had to find & pay another lawyer when we were prepared for another closing. For that process, I asked at least 4 law firms how much add'l would cost for my 2 sisters. Each time I was told there was NO add'l cost; there is only one house and one closing.
