The Law Office of Cohen & Jaffe has served my family with distinction on several occasions, and I feel incredibly fortunate that I chose the firm. Richard Jaffe has been my primary contact, and I've never had difficulty in reaching him or hearing back from him. On a couple of occasions, when Richard was in court, Stephen Cohen was available to provide much needed guidance. Their names are on the door, they stand by their clients and I've always felt like they were genuinely concerned and aligned with my interests. The firm has provided extremely valuable representation to my family on personal injury and employment matters, and I simply would never use anyone else. They know the law, and they're responsive and compassionate. I give them my highest possible recommendation, and I wouldn't consider ever pursuing a legal matter without them in front of me.

In 2014 I slipped and fell on a just washed floor in Puerto Rico. I suffered a broken hip and had a series of surgeries ultimately resulting in a hip replacement. In order to receive compensation for my costs and damages, I needed to bring suit against the hotel. I had no experience in this type of proceeding. After doing some internet research I contacted Rich Jaffe who took my call immediately. After a face to face meeting in which Rich explained what to expect and some of the complexities of my case, I chose Cohen and Jaffe to represent me. The suit took 2 years to be resolved. During this time I was always able to call or visit the office to discuss the status of my case. As we approached the time for trial, Seni Popat was assigned to my case. I was extremely pleased with the representation he provided. He was particularly thorough in preparing for trial - documenting my damages, visiting the scene of the accident, arguing against a change of venue, and lining up expert testimony. I always felt our side was better prepared than the attorneys for the hotel and insurance company. Ultimately my case was settled after a mediation with a federal judge. Monetary compensation cannot adequately make up for the pain, physical restrictions and early retirement caused by my injury, nevertheless, given the parameters for settlements in these matters, I feel that I received a very fair settlement and I feel that the efforts of the firm of Cohen and Jaffe, especially Seni Popat, were instrumental in my receiving the amount of compensation I received. I would highly recommend this firm to others without any reservation.

Rich is a lawyer that you can always rely on. He is honest and trustworthy. He took time patiently talking with me and reviewed my documents. Then he gave me very honest opinion that it is not worthwhile to file a claim. He gave me all the professional consultant for free. He is not someone just for money.I highly recommend him.

After being hit by a driver going through a stop sign, I believed there was nothing I could do. I had a fully paid for 2005 Camry that was in great shape and now that my car was totaled I would have to replace that. I also had in the prior months to the accident 2 knee replacements. Of course, one of the knees was injured in the accident. I didn't think it was worth going to an attorney since I've only had bad experiences with them. A friend recommended that I at least speak to Cohen & Jaffe. The best move I ever made. They immediately went into action and settled my case without me having to do anything but get to my doctor appointments. They called and kept me informed which was a big plus to me. Everyone I dealt with was professional and caring. A tough combination to find. I have already recommended them to people in my area.
