Picked up from our house at 5 am, the whole family is taken to jail, and charged with a $300,000.00 financial fraud against the State of New York. Police are subjecting us to legal and ILLEGAL tactics so we can shoot ourselves in the foot and destroy any defense that our lawyer can put forward in the future. My family looks to hire only the best of the best lawyer that they can find who is not only seasoned himself but also has a law firm that is nationally recognized with decades of experience behind them. While we are crying and shaking thinking about years behind bars … in comes a lawyer by the name Todd Spodek. He tells us not to cry and not to worry as he has dealt with such cases successfully for a long time and there is nothing that the D.A. can surprise him with! (even though the charges against us are backed up with video evidence, and the prosecutor is intent on sending the whole family to jail) He assures us that he will fight for us and will tackle every threat from the prosecutor with precision, wisdom, and intellect and that he will save us from the exaggerated charges and show the judge the real context behind the crime and behind the family as we are “humans who have a life which is far more telling about our characters than a criminal act”. THE WHOLE FAMILY THINKS HE IS RETARDED! How can someone save us when the prosecutors have so much VIDEO evidence against us and they are bent on making an example out of our family so they can “discourage other businesses from committing Food Stamp related Frauds. We decided to search for other firms. After talking to 8 different Law Firms in N.Y.C. and realizing that none were as qualified nor confident as Todd Spodek, and none other had so much experience in fighting fraud cases we finally decided to hire the Spodek Law Firm for the following 3 main reasons: #1 — After doing extensive research online we saw that Todd Spodek had been on TV representing some big names (celebrities) and SUCCESSFULLY SAVING THEM FROM JAIL TIME. That showed us that this lawyer is not an ordinary lawyer as he let his results do the talking! As results are what truly matters at the end when your life is on the line. #2 — He was not only the best-priced lawyer (to begin with), but on top of that he realized that all our money and property were seized by the government, so he agrees to take his pay in pieces and offered his services to us for a fraction of the price!!! I still remember so vividly how he melted our hearts with the way he gave us that offer and told me (the mother) directly that “he will protect me like his mom”. I knew right then that he is not a regular lawyer… he was the one! #3 — He sat with us for the longest period of time to explain to us the intrinsic details of the case and how it can be defended with a systematic approach WITHOUT HAVING SIGNED ANY PAYMENT AGREEMENT. Whereas, every other law firm that we had gone to before wanted us to leave a deposit and sign papers, “so they can “protect us faster”! Todd Spodek not only gave us so much of his valuable time for free but also recommended that we try out a few lawyers before picking on as our future depended on it. Like are you serious??? Are you even a lawyer? These were just a few reasons why we hired Todd. And to save your eyes (the reader) I will sum up what happened next. After endless visits to the courthouse, and to Spodek Law Firm’s office, and of Todd Spodek’s to OUR HOUSE!!!, we finally WIN by paying a fraction of that $300,000.00 fine and NO ONE WENT TO JAIL FOR EVEN A DAY!!! This summary does not include the emotional support, the understanding, and the overall peace that Todd brought in our lives so we can relax and fight the D.A. with shrewdness rather than emotions. Throughout the whole process, he was always available to answer even the smallest of questions and fought the D.A. with more passion, intellect, and fire than we have ever seen even in Hollywood! He is a “Super-Lawyer for a reason! May God Bless you more so you can continue saving people's lives! (Amen)!

I hired Todd and Alex a day before my court date. Even thought it was last minute Todd showed interest and assured me that my case would be dismissed. I’ve never been through this situation so I had no idea what to expect. Todd reassured me that I’ll have the outcome that I want. In the end Todd kept his promise and all my charges got dismissed.
