My boyfriend and I both suffered brain injuries. We both carry the brain injury cards. Last summer there was an issue on the beach in the Jersey Shore with 4 other people and we got very nervous and agitated and said things to offend the other people. They filed complaints against us for verbally offending them and now both my boyfriend and I have cases going to the Grand Jury. The stress both of us are going through is very hard. We are in our 60's and can't handle situations like that. These other people were less than half our age and looking for trouble.

This card has helped me so much. When I am unable to explain, I just show them the card.

My son carries his everywhere. The only thing is I wish you could add more stuff to the card( he now has seizures and is deaf on one side)

I've had my son's Brain Injury ID card for a couple years, and we have not had an occasion to need it yet, but it's comforting to know I have it in my wallet for him. We have just finished watching the video of Invisible Rain Cloud, I believe it's called. I shared it with everyone in our family. Wonderful video!

This video has touched me so deeply. Every thing it talked about was and is my story. When I found out that it was a YouTube video. I went on YouTube to find it and then I found a three-part video. I thank you for sharing this video and I am going to share it with my support group because in the support group we have the survivors and then we have the caretakers. Most of the caretakers join because they want to know and understand how to care for their loved one and need support in doing so. From both aspects how we deal with life and each other pertaining to said TBI. Again, I thank you because you truly understand what it’s like in the heart and mind of a TBI survivor and the spouse/caretaker.
