Do not hire this lawyer I hired her for few cases. 1) hired her to file modification of custody paperwork. She lied to me and said I can not file untill neglect case against my ex was over. ( MAJOR LIE AND MISLEADING ME AS HER CLIENT) she charged me $7000 retainer yet exhausted the $7000 on communication with Acs,Exs lawyer., reviewing paperwork and talking to me ( I talked to her max 3hrs of which she charged me $400/hr just to talk to her) She never filed paperwork i hired her. She lead me in wrong direction the entire case.... 2) she charged me $3500 for a order of protection case filed against me. She sent a letter to move the case to queens County from suffolk county. Nothing ever happened... Judge said to my ex n I. That we need to work together for the child and good luck with queens case... she charged me 3500. For that.. 3) support case. Charged me 3500$ she hired someone from suffolk county to represent me. She hired a 3rd party bc she's a lazy lawyer who can't show up to court that' she's hired for.. also she made me pay my exs lawyer fees which shoulda been 800 to 1000$ for days work her lawyer bc my lawyer had other matters that day. But when she called him it when to 2800$ but some how she got him down to 2100$ so now I have to pay 2100. Every hustler. And street person or anyone with common sense... will think through same think I thought. . Amy refused to believe my truth but believed lies of others . and I paid total if 14000$ She wanted 7500$ to replenish the account to continue .. She was suppose to send my affidavits to Judge but didnt send it.. she's done so much damage.. I am mentally and emotionally damaged because of her actions. .. There is so much I want to say but from what I wrote u decide if you wanna hire her and suffer like I did. I am reporting her to Bar associations grievance committee of NYC...she should not be a lawyer .. She Is unprofessional. She has misguided me.. she has lied to me. And she has conned me for 14000$. Amy does not care about her clients only cares about money she can con from you using her dirty tactics to exhaust the funds.... Even 1/5 stars is too much for her terrible advice and practice. Do yourself a favor google a different lawyer.
