Great resource!

I called Dan when an unreasonable client sent a lawyer, asking for a large payment to be returned, and threatened to sue me. My contract (which was written by another lawyer) was good, but we found a small loophole in it. In addition, the pandemic introduced some questions regarding force majeure and the client tried to take advantage of it. I tried to accommodate them in every way I could but they kept asking for more. Dan was extremely professional and kind. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and understands how to navigate conflicts and avoid escalating a situation unnecessarily. He immediately saw how unreasonable this was, and how I did all that I could to resolve it peacefully. He pointed to a few options and helped me tighten up the contract for future jobs. It was all resolved without having to go to arbitration or court. The client dropped their claim. Having Dan by my side helping me navigate a sticky situation made all the difference for calm and simple communication that resolved easily and without much fanfare, with an angry and bullying client.
