Neal, Jill and Ramona are the best!!! They have helped my husband and I throughout the last two years as nobody else could have had. After going all over New York looking for an honest attorney, we ended up with Neal through a friend's recommendation and we have not been disappointed . They have done more than what we expected and are always looking for new and better ways to help us. They are very professional and very easy to get along with.

I highly recommend Mr. Datta. When I met him I was working at a French restaurant and we began to chat because he noticed my French accent. I described my immigration situation to him and it turned out that he actually knew all the officers at the immigration office who had my case. He told me it sounded like my case was in danger of denial, which I was unaware of that at the time. But he was right and my case was denied. I then hired Neal, who helped me reapply for my residency, which was then approved. I dealt with a lot of stress through that time and Neal was very reassuring. Thanks to him, I won my residency and after that he helped me win my U.S. citizenship. Now I am a US citizen! I have continued to use Neal to advise me on other legal issues, including when I needed his advice when I opened my own restaurant. He is the kind of person who is always there to help and I have referred many of my friends to him over the years.

I got the big runaround with this firm. The lawyer I spoke to Frederic R. Abramson promised to call me back (although I figured he wouldn't just by him cutting me off and the sense he was uninterested or unenthused! I tried to give you foundation to a very serious matter, however you seemed uninterested and didn't have the common curiously to let me finish.. Then you said you'll call me back and never did. When I just called you said, "I didn't have time?" You had no intentions from the start so who are you kidding. Bruce Yerman is very professional, competent and reliable. Mr. Yerman had my charges dismissed. He will fight for your rights and help you in your legal matters to achieve the best possible outcome. If you need a confident, reliable, honest and professional lawyer please call Mr. Yerman. I retained Mr. Yerman to defend me against Disorderly Conduct charges in New York City. I should not have been charged with Disorderly Conduct and the police were acting maliciously. Mr. Yerman was prepared to defend me in every possible way to ensure the furtherance of justice while working with me to understand other immigration implications. Receiving this charge as a tourist in New York it was very overwhelming to defend myself against the charge. I originally found a good review on Mr. Yerman so I decided to give him a call along with some other lawyers. He was the only lawyer that promptly returned my call (within 24 hours), all the other lawyers returned my calls a few days later and by then I returned to my home country. I spoke to Mr. Yerman further in detail again and received his legal advice. His legal counsel was honest and professional without any “salesman pitch” or even the slightest feeling that he was trying to grab me as a client. Further to that, and the American justice system being completely foreign to me, I spent approximately 2 months researching various lawyers and legalities. I could not meet any of these lawyers so I had to judge them based on telephone conversations and internet searches. After speaking to at least 20 lawyers, I found Mr. Yerman as the most sincere and honest. Some other lawyers I spoke to also seemed honest and competent but the reason I chose Mr. Yerman is because he returned my call while I was in New York, he understood what I was going through, and did not take advantage of my situation. He was also very knowledgeable and was adamant on my rights and defense; whereas, some other lawyers (and lawyer websites) were advising me that my only option was an ACD. I came to learn that many lawyers are quick to advise ACD as the only outcome. Apparently this is because it is quick money for them and they ignore other options for your defense. An ACD is not a terrible thing and many times if a lawyer can arrange that for you it is a great option; however, a sincere lawyer will explore all options with confidence before advising you that an ACD is your only option. I trusted and relied on Mr. Yerman to represent me through Power of Attorney and he appeared in court on my behalf as I do not live in New York City. It was daunting to not be present in court but Mr. Yerman made the process very comfortable. I can personally assure you that you are in good hands with Mr. Yerman; he is very competent and trustworthy.
