Very unprofessional, and that's a compliment. Their lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable,it takes them weeks if not a month to reply to email inquiries; I actually went 2 monrhs without a reply. I have never had a call returned ever, and I left numerous voicemails over the course of 9 months. There is absolutely zero coordination and no accountability at any level in this firm. I have never been subjected to such incompetence in my life. Luckily I Iistened when I was advised to fire them. They simply do not care about the individual, they ONLY care about what the individual can earn for their firm. It's obvious in the percentage that they charge. I must admit I personally feel that they are a scam, even my cell provider identifies the number they call from as possible fraud. If you are former military taking part in any of the class action cases, I'd HIGHLY advise finding a different firm. Be very wary of this group. Update July 2023. I fired Lake Law Firm over 6 months ago. Yesterday I get an email asking how to proceeding. I informed them to file a motion to dismiss immediately, in which they said they would. TODAY, I get an email saying they can transfer my case. Again, this "Firm" seems to be a fraud, only caring about money they can get from a case, not the individual. I HIGHLY advise finding a better, more competent firm to represent you. I was bounced around by this firm to at least 3 different lawyers, transferred once without consent or being informed, transfered back, and now this. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. My phone provider identifies their phone number as a fraudulent number.

Received a docusign from this firm, for an ERTC contract that I never inquired about or requested. It is a blatant attempt at phishing, targeting small and independent businesses. The emails and phone messages that I received with the docusign were all written / worded in a manner that implied that we were already doing business with the firm. This is a gross way of conducting business, that could easily confuse an older or less business savvy recipient of signing a contract.

Don't communicate with you. Drop you if they think no case instead representing you. I had better law firms than The Lake Law Firm.

BEWARE! This company sent me MULTIPLE emails where in the subject area it says "reminder to sign Lake-PLG-DLF_ERTC Fee Agreement + 2848 Form....I never had an agreement with them and I felt like this was very shady. What happens to the companies who may just sign a document, not knowing what it is? It wasn't until I asked them what it was for that I received a full explananation. You should send an explanation to a potential customer about the services offered, let them decide if they want to do business with you AND THEN SEND THE DOCUMENT IF THEY AGREE. I felt manipulated and I emailed and called them and let them know to never contact me again.
