Attorney Monica Trombley was picked after my search on behalf of a Singer/Artist I represent. I am a retired former Major Recording/Music Industry Music Producer who recommended to the Artist, that she 'distance herself' in all respects from former band-mates, who made up fantastic-insane stories about their 'major-industry contacts and backing'.. Having been a 'REAL' Major-Recording/Music Industry Producer/Engineer, who was also listed in other categories in Industry Publications such as under 'Artist Management', Public Relations, Recording/Mastering etc for a decade- I was quickly able to 'look into' their 'dubious at best' claims and felt the potential existed for their 'lunacy' to affect the Artist's reputation as she has worked with myself and world-class musicians to 're-invent' herself, revive a stalled career etc. Monica was very stalwart in every respect and did research that showed that the continued use of the Artist/Singers 'Voice' as well as name and likeness in pictures/video's was indeed- a 'privacy issue' and informed the Artists former band-mates that they should 'cease all such use and activity' or face a serious lawsuit! We received via e-mail from the 'culprits'- a literal admission they were 'in the wrong' and that the 'Artist wins', though we will likely file a lawsuit in 2016 seeking recompense as the Artist is also part copyright owner of the music they continue to use!
