For years, I have sent my clients to Vacca Family Law Group to for pre-nuptial work, and for divorce mediation when that service becomes necessary. So when I married recently myself, I went straight to Andrea Vacca to represent my interests in preparing our pre-nuptial agreement. It was a second marriage for both parties, so details were a little complicated, but Andrea did a great job of interviewing me to get all the information, and then working in a friendly and collegial manner with my fiancée's attorney to draft and finalize our agreement. The whole process took two months start to finish, and was signed and notarized over Zoom. Professional and responsive!

Ms. Vacca was exceedingly reliable and thorough in her analysis of my divorce situation; so much so that her acumen saved me upwards of $25,000.00. More specifically, my wife's attorney had miscalculated the amount owed to me from the sale of a jointly owned apartment: Ms. Vacca caught the error and I was 'saved.'

My experience was extremely negative. Had I followed the direction supported in the mediation I could have materially damaged my ability to see my children and my financial position. Fortunately I was working with my own attorney who saved me from this. To have have encouraged this direction was, in my opinion, professionally negligent. Mediation is, in my opinion, supposed to support constructive dialog. But when the mediator panders to ridiculous behavior from one of the parties the process stands no chance of succeeding. Of course I realize now that my ex-wife was never going to be reasonable or constructive, but to allow such behavior to persist during mediation meant a waste of time and money.
