I’m very thankful for the whole team at Finkelstein & Partners. At the lowest and darkest time in my life they were always there for me, being very sympathetic towards my feelings and needs, they became more like family, always making time to listen and return all my phone calls encouraging me to stay strong. I will highly recommend them to anyone. In fact, I already did, you’re just not getting a team of excellent Lawyers that are working very hard for you, your gaining an addition to your family with Finkelstein & Partners

When my car accident case was referred to Finkelstein & Partners, LLP, I was encouraged. For many years, F&P has marketed itself as an agressive, results-oriented law firm that has garnered impressive settlements for their clients. I immediately received a phone call from Andrew Finkelstein, who assured me that F&P would bring in doctors, experts, etc, and if necessary, pursue arbitration—all to ensure me justice in my case. Soon after, I was contacted by a managing attorney, who echoed Mr. Finkelstein's enthusiam, and I felt in good hands. She suggested we meet in person—to discuss the case and map out a strategy. When we met, she complained that she hadn't received the case files from the previous law firm, and she made copies of all my personal emails, deposition, etc. with that firm. Checking, I was assured that the materials had been forwarded to F&P, and miraculously, the case files were found. However, it was very obvious at this point that F&P's initial enthusiasm for my claim had waned considerably. . . . A week or so later, the managing attorney informed me that, given the particulars of my case, arbitration was way to go and she had scheduled a hearing. I accepted her plan and looked forward to pushing my case to a resolution. Unfortunately, the hearing never happened. Instead, F&P pursued a strategy of "Trick Arb," which basically entailed going through the motions of arbitration, hoping that the insurance company wouldn't respond—presumably ending in some kind of summary judgment given by the judge for the insurance company's non-compliance. I was told we went through several "Trick Arb" attempts—all to no avail. . . . This ushered in a new phase in my case, where my managing attorney was incommunicado. All my phone calls to speak with her fell on deaf ears, and I never spoke to her again nor was I ever told why I couldn't contact her. Enter one of F&P's partners, who told me that my case was not an encouraging one and that a doctor for the insurance company had made strong arguments mitigating their liability. Reminding her that Andrew Finkelstein had promised our own doctors, experts, etc., she suggested that I strongly consider taking the insurance company's low-ball offer, nor was I ever told why we no longer could pursue arbitration. It now became painfully apparent that F&P wanted out of my case, and reluctantly, with no future strategies offered, I was forced to accept the insurance company's offer. . . . Since then, I have had several episodes of intense nerve pain from my accident and spinal surhery that have required doctors' intervention. Obviously, thoughts go back to my days with Finkelstein & Partners and essentially their dropping me as a client and my having to accept a settlement that is in no way commensurate with my pain, suffering, expense, etc. I can only hope that other F&P clients will not be treated as I was and will consider this review as a criterion in making the decision whether to retain Finkelstein & Partners.

I am a photographer and was invited into the office today to take headshots of 20+ employees. From the very start I felt welcomed and part of the team. I got to experience the easy-going comradery among the staff and I especially enjoyed seeing them interacting with one another. They care about each other and seem like a family. A terrific work day for me!
