I had the pleasure of working with Phil Sayles on two separate legal matters, one for myself and one for my son, and despite being based in New York, he was incredibly helpful in resolving both issues here in Seattle, Washington. Phil was responsive, compassionate, and took the time to explain the legal process in a way that was easy to understand. His expertise and attention to detail gave me peace of mind throughout each case. Even with the geographic distance, Phil was always available for consultation and provided outstanding support. At 30 years old, I’ve never needed a lawyer before, and wow do I feel thankful Phil Sayles was my first experience with a criminal defense lawyer. I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. My needs were put first and was treated as a friend rather than a number. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. My nerves were calmed and the process was always explained. Phil went above and beyond and did everything he could to ensure a great outcome. I met Phil about 4 years ago when my cousin got into some legal trouble. Phil took his case and due to not having a lot of money on hand Phil still took the case and let us make payments. my cousin ended up going to prison for the short time of a year and a day thanks to Phil, he was looking at several years if he relied on a public defender that is what he would have gotten. my cousin had to turn himself in for his sentencing and as hard as that was to do he did because of the extra miles Phil went for him. Phil not only let us make payments he saw that my cousin was trying to change his lifestyle and because of that, he refused to take the last payment that we owed. Phil is ruthless in the courtroom getting results that are the most beneficial to his clients. He puts in crazy hours sacrificing any kind of social or private life outside his practice. Phil is so dedicated to his cases he sometimes doesn't leave the office he has a mattress set up there for the nights he is hard at work and can't make it home to sleep. This is only one of the times I have had the pleasure of having Phil represent a member of my family. due to his amazing ability in the courtroom, i have begged him to represent my nephew on some driving cases in two courts in Washington but he was currently living and working in Texas. Phil was amazing he was able to get the courts to work around my nephews travels back and forth and kept the court appearances to a minimum, again when it came to getting paid he refused to take the final payments knowing my nephew had spent so much on the fines and flying back and forth for court. Phil is the most generous man that I have ever come across in the legal system. He is not about just making money he sees the good in his clients and understands the circumstances that lead people into his office seeking his help. He believes that people can change and gives them the help they need at the time they need it at his own expense. I am proud to say Phil's effort was not wasted on my nephew who is still living a clean and sober productive life in Texas, he completed his house arrest, and probation thanks to Phil he did no jail time and was able to keep his job and get his drivers license. Thank you, Phil, for being who you are and for believing that there is still good in people even when they have everything going against them.

When I first met with Mr. Sayles I was extremely overwhelmed and afraid about my future. I had just graduated from King County drug court for a number of felony charges only to find out that Snohomish County had decided to file 6 more. My wife was serving a 5 year sentence for related charges and our 2 teenage boys would be alone if I went away. After a 20 year battle with heroin & meth addiction and having spent a majority of the past 10 years incarcerated I thought I finally had my life back on track & that my legal issues were behind me. My situation was complicated and I faced a long time in prison if the case wasn't handled properly & by someone intimately familiar with the Snohomish County prosecutor's office. I was referred to Mr. Sayles by a previous client of his who was serving time in prison with my wife. She said that Mr. Sayles knew Snohomish County better than any defense attorney in the area and that he had successfully represented a number of her friends. Specifically she said that he was the best choice for negotiating a Family Sentencing Alternative (FOSA) which is exactly what Mr. Sayles did for me. He didn't just represent me, he called and checked up on how I was doing with treatment and staying sober. He answered my calls even if he was in court with another client (which is unheard of). He encouraged me to keep focused on recovery and to be a good dad. He talked to me about Jesus and how many of his clients who have been successful in changing their lives turned their life over to the Lord. I've worked with more than a dozen public defenders and private attorney's over the past 10 years and Phil Sayles is far and away the best. To top it all off he took $2,000 off the fee he had initially quoted when my case was resolved!!!! Thank you Phil for all your help and thank you Lord for Phil Sayles.

I met Phil About 7 years ago. He has repeatedly represented my whole family, He was always compassionate and easy to talk to. He leads with his heart and truly cares about his community and everyone in it. He is absolutely the best defense attorney around. If you want someone you can trust choose Phil. Does he work on DUI cases? We are desperately in need of an attorney. My son used him for criminal offenses and he did great. He had a long sentence that he could ood gotten and Phil got it drastically reduced. Her was recommended buy a lot of my sons friends. We would recommend him
