Someone wrote that she is a 3 year old playing doctor ; agreed . Nothing she says has any meaning, charges an arm and leg to stand in court room with her melted candle face

Charged me an outrageous fee for her services, then pawned me off on an associate after appearing in court once and dragged it out for years. Rude, unprofessional, money hungry, and uncaring. They created an essentially useless order while making me feel that mine and my child's needs were being met, and I discovered will not hold up in court. We were left in a worse position than when we started as well. RUN. These reviews are here for a reason!

She is like a 3 year old playing doctor. She has a lot of confidence with her stethoscope and hammer but her tools to get the job in the court room like the child are as plastic ; as is her knowledge of law.

Michele was a colossal waste of time and money. She charged up fees and was completely vague anytime I had questions. She missed court appearances and ultimately made me look like a fool for not answering court discovery requests that were never communicated to me. I had to switch attorney's towards the end of my divorce and boy am I ever so grateful that I did. She came across as an attorney that was a pitbull but ultimately was incompetent in court. Beware, as I have heard similar experiences from several other divorcees.

Michelle is the best Family court Attorney in Niagara County Hands Down! Her extensive experience in family law is the reason my family was referred to her! From the minute I hired her and her firm they have done nothing but fight for my case! She knows what to file, when to file it and is very stern and respected while litigating in the court room! I give her 10stars as an attorney! She is an absolute pit Bull in that court room! Thank you Michelle

Michele was recommended by friend to handle custody/parenting agreement modification. Michele unorganized, she would schedule meetings at her office with me that always lasted at least 1 hour, $$$$$, we would come to agreement on pending matter when in court she would act like it was never discussed at all??? argue and blame me when I questioned or pointed out that was something we had already decided on. I arrived at office for scheduled appointment and she said " oh I forgot you were coming in today" NO WORRIES, she didn't forget to sent the bill for the full hour while she pranced around in 3" heels finding my file. claimed her office did not communicate via email and said to call, when I called office staff said I didn't respond to email and attachment? acted like I was being unreasonable because I didn't agree with last minute changes the other side made to agreement, Isnt it her job to represent her client not endorse the other side? This is a parenting agreement that as a parent I will live by for the next 10 years so umm yeah. leave voicemail about not responding to email she sent (that they don't use?) and then a follow up letter she sent, when I said I didn't receive any letter in the mail? Eventually found that her staff sent to wrong address- BUT don't worry- somehow the bill for 250.00 an hour always came to the correct address! yes where I was overbilled - a 3 minute conversation from wherever she was with a lot of noise and people talking in background was billed as a 15 minute conversation-and changes agreed to were never followed through with on her end. the final agreement/parenting plan submitted to the court- my copy sent via email/file attachment- Missing page 6, had to call and ask for a complete agreement and had the displeasure of speaking to the nasty rude office girl, there is one who is pleasant and nice but I doubt she will survive . Never would I ever recommend Michele Bergevin. LIKE EVER.

Going through a 2 year custody trial was tough.... but Michele was tougher!!! She got me everything I wanted and more. I can't imagine her ever being unprofessional, not returning calls or gouging anyone. News flash.... lawyers re expensive.... courts and trials take a really long time...... I would hire her again and again. She is one woman you want in your corner.

Michelle handled an awful business legal battle for me and my wife against the state of NY and ATT . two of the most corrupt entities in the country. Between her and George VC Muscato they were able to turn what could have been an awful dragged out battle in to a settlement we could deal with. She is kind and caring

I hired Michelle because I wanted an aggressive attorney for my custody/visitation suit. WHAT. A. MISTAKE. She is completely disorganized and doesn't care - she didn't even show up for one of my court appearances and last minute (apparently she was on vacation?!) sent one of her junior attorneys - who was totally unprepared - in her place. 30 minutes late! She ignored outreach attempts by the other side to reach a settlement - I found this out AFTER from the other attorney - and instead, gouged me for even more (undeserved) fees. And her written work product was late, and full of mistakes! Learn fro my mistake - DO NOT hire this woman.

Hired her based on recommendation, she was referred to as “pit bull”.....never saw it except for when she got mad at me when I spoke up about my disappointment. I had to do all the paperwork runaround and only had the case move forward when I would call and question the office continuously. ( maybe they take on more than they can handle...) whatever the retainer is you can double that and then some. I had to keep reminding her of key information regarding case. One day I received a sarcastic call from her saying she was at court where was I..... turns out no one informed me of court date ...horrible communication.
