Working with Peter was a breeze. He is very knowledgable about real estate laws and he made the closing process quick and simple. I was able to complete all paperwork with him before closing through email, which worked best for me and my hectic schedule. He challenged the lenders and sellers attorneys when needed which helped my confidence level in him. He is very personable and I would highly recommend him to anyone. My husband and I were purchasing a home, and upon recommendation, called Peter. He was extremely personable, as well as knowledgeable. He guided us through the entire process, and was always available. He would email us daily to keep us up to date on the progress of our purchase. We had several issues throughout, and Peter was always reassuring and we knew we were in good hands. He was a true professional, and it was a pleasure working with him. Peter's office and support staff were organized and efficient. His assistant served as a liaison between various parties involved in the deal - mortgage brokers, title folks, etc. - and helped us move our paperwork through the system without delay. About 4 years ago I decided I wanted to move up to Nyack from New Jersey. I found a house I liked and my Realtor gave Peter a strong recommendation. I called several Attorneys in addition to Peter and questioned them somewhat because the house I wanted had complexities in terms of underwater property and condition. Peter had all the right answers and was personable as well. I can’t express how amazing Peter was through it all! Just a quick example, the current owners lived in the house for over 30 years. When they bought the house the underwater land grant was not transferred with the property. This meant the deed needed to be amended to include the grant. One problem, the previous owner from over 30 years ago needed to be found and needed to sign docs stating it was her intent to pass the grant to the current owners. I thought it was just impossible, Peter proved me wrong! He found the woman, got her to come to the office and sign the docs, incredible! Peter also hooked me up with an Engineer to do a structural exam, went back and forth with the title insurance company countless times to ensure my best interest were being protected, contacted his surveyor who did an amazing job for me creating a survey to reflect not only the land and house BUT also my underwater property. Here’s the bottom line, I’m one of these guys who is over the top annoying to get the job done right. I’m a stickler for detail, not leaving any loose ends open and do my homework thoroughly. If you want to save yourself time and money then take advantage of all my research and do yourself and your wallet justice by hiring Peter Klose. He’s the real deal!

Working with Peter on our real estate sale was everything we could have hoped for. He is ethical, honest, responsive and professional. In my opinion, Peter is everything a lawyer should be. Normally I would use my sister who's a real estate attorney in New Jersey to handle my real estate transactions, but alas she's not licensed in New York. Nonetheless, I chose to go with Peter over other local attorneys because of his expertise in rental law (I'm purchasing a two family), positive reviews online, and having read some of his informative and well written articles that appeared in The Nyack Villager. I can say without a doubt that I made a prudent choice. Peter has been excellent throughout what I can only imagine has been a worst case scenario Real Estate wise. He has played the role of "Good Cop" in dealing with my extremely contentious mortgage company, is extremely quick to respond to email and phone inquiries succinctly, and has been very patient and knowledgeable in all aspects of a real estate transaction that has encountered numerous setbacks including a probate situation as the seller had passed before we were able to close. I wanted to find a reliable local attorney that was competent, competitively priced, and one I could trust. My search is over. He will have my continued business going forward ...All this, and a wonderfully dry sense of Humor through the whole process. THANKS PETER!!!

Update: 4 years later and Peter is still the best in the area, he knows the law inside and out and didn't miss anything, again instrumental in getting 2 buy and sell side deals done on the same day!! Peter represented me on a few real estate related transactions. He was detailed, responsive, and courteous. He did not take for granted, that I knew everything and had the patience and foresight to go through things with me thoroughly. I've dealt with plenty of attorney's in the past, not one was as responsive as Peter, he always returned my calls or emails in a prompt manner. His assistant Cindy is Great!! She helped with all the admin. details and missed nothing.Peter knew exactly the right kind and amount of leverage to apply, and helped expedite the process for me, basically saving the deal. I would highly recommend Peter Klose and his office to anyone, who needs representation for real estate related matters. . . I see another review on here which is negative, he responded to me even while on vacation, some people are never satisfied and lawyers are people too, with wives and kids and families, the Lawyer Client relationship is a 2 way street.

We have been searching to buy a commercial property for over 3 years. I worked with Peter for the last 2 properties. The first one, my mind was stuck on the property to buy it. Peter had me to do many research. Reluctantly I did and found out that the property had a major structural repair in the past. I backed out. The property is still out in the market not sold for over few years. The second property which we ended up buying was much better. Only mistake was that I decided to get a mortgage from a major bank which we had business account for over 10 years hopping that will ease the process. Well, not so.... they drove me crazy with all the paper works and requirements. Peter really eased all that and he stood by us till the end of the process. He always answered phone calls and kept good communication. At the closing table, he took control of the floor and was leading all the way. And myself being a cheap guy... most of all.... he did not charge me a cent more than he projected and his fee is very very reasonable. To sum it up, he is precise, prompt, has good sense of humor and charismatic. Thanks Peter!
