My husband and I recently purchased a house in South Nyack, New York. Peter Klose served as our attorney for the transaction. He was efficient, diligent and competent throughout the process. We particularly appreciated his successful effort to expedite the closing which might otherwise have taken a lot longer.

Klose & Associates were among a few legal teams available through our legal plan. My husband and I are extremely pleased with our decision to hire Peter Klose as our closing attorney. Everything surrounding the sale of our home was stressful, yet Peter's keen knowledge of real estate in the area put us at ease. He was accessible by phone and email. His email responses were timely and insightful. Peter always returned missed calls and if we ever caught him off guard, he was always quick to shift gears to our case. We felt as though Peter was genuinely looking out for us - it was like we had hired family. Words can't express how much we truly appreciated the guidance and expertise of Klose & Associates. Peter is an excellent attorney, my husband and I felt completely comfortable when buying our first home together, that our best interests were being handled accordingly. We initially selected a home that had numerous issues and were advised by Peter of several implications that could/would potentially arise. Peter was an exceptional attorney. I give him top points for helping us navigate the landmines of buying our first home. Coming from Canada, we had no knowledge on how to purchase property in the US so Peter's guidance was a real asset. He gave us good questions to ask the real estate agent and the seller which we would have never thought of. He always got back to us when we wrote him - sometimes within a few seconds. He has a no-nonsense kind of attitude which made him effective in dealing with the banks, the seller's attorney, etc. I found his fees very reasonable. Peter Klose is a bulwark against the idiocies and vagaries that can sink a real estate deal, especially an involved one like our eight-month short sale purchase. We were first-time home buyers and after several bad experiences with various brokers and lawyers, Peter’s knowledge, professionalism, and advocacy were a welcome relief. He kept on top of the other side, which was less than forthcoming at times, and kept us neatly informed of what we needed to know and do. He returned calls and emails immediately. He knows the market and the players in the area and was able to get important information through back channels. In fact, after I told him about our previous string of failed deals, he recommended the broker that we ended up using -- who was also a winner -- even before we had agreed to work with him. He’s one of the good ones.

I worked with Peter for almost a year selling my parents home in Tappan. He was very patient and welcoming all along the way. It took 3 tries to sell my home and he helped me in every way possible to make the sell happen. I will definetly recommend him for anyone looking for a well experienced attorney in the local area.

I used Peter's services for the recent sale of my co-op in Westchester County. He was unbelievably efficient, prompt and seemed to be thinking three steps ahead the entire time - which was incredibly useful, given all the hoops you have to jump through when closing on a co-op, not to mention dealing with a mortgage company that has a history of losing paperwork and torpedoing deals. Just to make things interesting, I also had a baby a few days after we went into contract, and then our closing was scheduled shortly after Thanksgiving weekend. Despite all these obstacles, Peter had no trouble coordinating all necessary details without breaking a sweat. (He also has a great sense of humor!) My husband and I are already using his services again to set up our wills, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Outstanding service!

My review is based on Closing experience. The bottom line is professional, sharp, prompt, helpful, doesn't require control. Peter communicates brief but to the point, which saves you much time if you busy. I received few solid and useful advice on the way. My only input was to supply few names, papers and signatures, and things were done at no stress. I also had minimum effort on communicating to other parties involved, most were taken care by Peter. If I were to recommend Peter to a friend or re-run the deal, would go with him no doubt. Thank you.
