If i could give them 10 stars I would. Today, I just dont take bad reviews so seriosly because many people who dont get there way, revert back to childhood and become "babies." I know 20 people at least who have worked with this firm INCLUDING ME with NO NO NO issues. Please, take my word and the decades of service Richard and his affectionate caring staff -hire them if you need an amazing attorney ask every realtor in town who the best is. Richard Cohen will be named more often than not.

I’ll keep this short...After 4 years fighting a losing battle, sleepless nights, disappointment and feeling helpless, another attorney familiar with my case referred me to Mr. Venturo. I won’t go over the details “pre-Venturo” but try to imagine the worst day of your life and then living that day like Groundhog’s Day for the next 4 years...then multiple it by 2x... Within 20 minutes of meeting Mr. Venturo I knew he was different. Not your typical attorney. He was the right guy not only for the case but for me as well. I would consider myself a “high needs” client, coupled with being an emotional wreck the last 4 years. I’ve had 5 other attorneys in the 4 years because I have a very complex case and I never felt like anyone else fully understood the details of the case, lacked the knowledge or just didn’t care as much as I feel they should. Again without going into details of my case, I’ll say this. In life there are a handful times where you know things happen for a reason and something bigger then us puts you in line with someone that can and will change your life. Where you look back at everything you went thru and now can walk with confidence because you have done EVERYTHING you needed to do to “DO RIGHT”, stay in alignment and in return God rewards you for staying the course, going thru hell, mentally and physically crippled but all you know how to do is to keeping going...! Keep going while staying humble with pure intentions, putting ego aside, vindictive free and remembering what you are fighting for and keeping THEIR best FIRST. Well, I did just that...! I passed every grueling tests God had thrown my way....and just when all hope was lost and contemplating a settlement (giving up)...I received the “GRACE” of God....and it came in the form of Robert Venturo..! And that’s all I have to say about that...!

Making the decision to call a lawyer is scary and intimidating. When I called Robert Venturo's office I received only the kindest and warm reception and immediately all of my anxiety washed away. His paralegal Anna is AMAZING!! She took her time with me and explained everything thoroughly. She treats you with kindness and compassion. You will not regret choosing this practice to represent you. They give only the best quality service.

Mr. Venturo has had many consultations with me. The information he gave me was priceless. Quite a few times I had family issues that he had consulted me on. He was honest, and truthfull. His disposition is to do what is best for you. He gave me good true advice on many consultations and said I did not need to hire him. He said he would not want me to retain his firm for something that I could do myself without representation. If I did need to hire a lawyer anytime in the future, it would definitely be Mr. Venturo and his firm. I had to deal with his office staff numerous times. Courteous, helpful and compassionate. Every consultation was expert advise.

Mr. Venturo and his staff are wonderful to work with.. His staff anna and maria are very pleasant to work with.They make sure you are comfortable while waiting to talk to Mr. Venture. The staff answers all your question and makes sure that all paperwork is perfect. Mr. Venturo is a wonderful attorney to work with. He makes you feel very comfortable and talks to you in a way that you can understand. I was very nervous about my court hearings and Mr. Venturo calmed me down and assured me that everything will be ok he was right. If your looking for an attorney that you feel comfortable with hire Mr. Venturo and his staff. You will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of having Cathleen as my closing attorney today. I can't say enough about how well she represented me as a buyer. She explained everything in plain English and negotiated with the sellers on my behalf. Special thanks to her paralegal Lisa who promptly answered all my 100 questions prior to closing. I highly recommend this law firm based in Patchogue NY. This was not my first closing but it was by far my best experience.

The paralegal there doesn't do her job. She is not assertive and does not care about the clients. I had to sit in a dank hotel room for 5 days, in the arm pit of Georgia because she wasn't assertive enough to have my house close on time. Stay away, far away from this office.

Mr. Venturo is a truly caring attorney. He never ceases to surprise me with how much understanding and attentiveness he displays. He fights very hard defending his clients and is very committed to achieving his clients goals. In trial, he fought tooth and nail for me to be able to have the outcome i desired for my case and I was very very happy. I am so very grateful for everything and he has proven to be worth every amount of $ I have spent. thank you!

stay away. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. a suggestion you ask? he preys on is victims and is so unprofessional. stay away from him. his hairline agrees as you can see it’s fleeing

I would give Richard Cohen zero stars if I could. Him and his office was an absolute nightmare to work with. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for a lawyer. He didn’t even come to our closing, didn’t notify us and we had no idea who the women was that walked in. Not even from his office!! He is an absolute rip off!! Please save yourself grief and use someone else!!
