When the pandemic hit, the borders closed and my tenants stopped paying rent.There was no way for me to contact them and they wouldn't pick up or return phone calls. I called upon attorney Dean Scheller to help navigate the legal remedies & eviction process, in view of the US Federal and NY state laws & moratorium, to finally get back my house so I could list to sell. Dean and his legal and office staff are “top Notch!” As a paralegal myself, I respect and admire a firm that goes above and beyond to meet the specific needs and wishes of their clients. They communicated every detail of two closings that they managed and represented us us with. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had and made the process run as smoothly as possible By addressing issues swiftly, despite some little bumps along the way. Unbeknownst to me, Dean's practice inherited my Mom's will when her attorney retired a few years, so I came to Dean without having ever met him or dealing with his practice. He made time for me during a very busy week (Thanksgiving) as I was only going to be in town for a couple of days.
