Jacob is one of the worst lawyers to work in the system. He does really underhanded stuff and works with the district attorney when I was due to be released at a court appearance He decided to resign as my attorney. He is by far the worst attorney ever I would rather have a dead dog represent me

I was assigned Jacob Painter to represent me in a criminal matter. He acted like he knew all there was to know about the law. He failed to listen to anything I said. He violated attorney client confidentially, he also violated my constitutional rights. I can prove he worked with the adversary and kept me incarcerated. I have filed a complaint against him. As this is a review site it would be within anyone's best interest to not have this attorney represent you.

He claims he knows his way around the court systems but definitely does not. After I had Mr. Painter as my attorney, I had multiply people come up to me telling to stuff that they shouldn't no and stating that Mr. Painter is there neighbor and he was discussing the case with his neighbors and whole family, just be aware before hiring.

I was assigned him for council and given a date to show up to court.. I went to court on said date and he walked in spoke to the clerk and spoke about my case seen my name and his next to mine, then he looked at me as he walked out. I end up being called up to the judge and he never returned to court for my case and the clerk said "apparently he didn't thing it was important enough to be here and he left". The judge gave me his number and he NEVER even called me back and my case was adjoured! I go back Tommorow lets see he if he shows up. I have no record and my case is small and simple, but I'm not going to go forward with out an attorney bc I have no clue how the system works to handle it by myself.. Sad someone so experianced felt it was okay to skip on a client of his.

Knows his way around the court and Is good with the court staff. Seemed to do alright by me. Nothing special but did job.
