I am a nurse who was injured on the job, and was initially denied my workers compensation claim by the insurance carrier. I hired Heather Kaplan as my worker’s compensation attorney, who fought tooth and nail for me from the very start, not only getting my claim approved, but representing me and my best interested along the way. She made sure I would be paid while I was out of work from my injury. It was a year long process from the insurance companies process, and in the end from all of Heather’s hard work, she got me a very hefty settlement for my injury as well. I started this all, out of work with an injury, and a denied claim. Heather helped me with all of that and more. I could not thank her enough!

I highly recommend Heather Kaplan to handle all Workers Comp cases. Heather and her team are wonderful! They respond to all emails and calls in a timely manner. Heather even gave me her personal cell phone number so communication was never an issue. Before meeting Heather, I was trying to deal with my Workers Comp case on my own. I am writing this review in response to the one star review given by Ms. Alvino. Heather is an consummate professional, an excellent attorney, and an extraordinary human being. She deserves no less than 5 stars - and I say this despite the fact that she is technically my competition (given that we both practice worker’s compensation and represent claimants). I was shocked with the absolutely undeserving one star review she received. It is outrageous! This was given by someone who got lost on her way to her office and somehow blamed Heather and her team despite her office bending over backwards to help guide her there. It’s absolutely insane and unfortunately no one is free from coming across unscrupulous people who live life blaming other people for their own mishaps. All I can say is, I refer many clients to Heather because I trust she is the only one who can give clients the same level of care and high standards of representation as me. And if you are reading these reviews and doubting even for one second whether you can trust her based on one completely crazy review, then please know you’d be crazy to pass up her high level of service.

Her attention to detail, and, compassion, to make sure she gets you taken care of, is First Class !!! I would highly recommend her to friends and family alike.

El día 15 de mayo me dieron cita para un caso de Workes Compensation,sin saber que lo único que querían es confundir,reírse de personas hispanohablante, Yo vivo en Manhattan tuve que viajar hasta Mineola cuando llegue a la estación de tren de Mineola me comunique para saber cómo podía llegar a la oficina riéndose en todo momento y maltratandome me dieron un número de Bus que regresaba a Jamaica,suerte que el chofer me dio nformo que no era el bus que me llevaba a la sa direccion,No tienen moral ni principios profesionales,reírse de una persona con una cirugía de columna La abogada de Workes Compensation HeatherKaplan y La abogada de Workes Compensation Camila Medici quien fue la que me recomendó este bufet están en complicidad junto con las malas hispanas paralegales que tiene trabajando. Heather Kaplan is an excellent attorney who represents injured workers. My sister had an occupational disease case and Ms. Kaplan explained the law to her and held her hand every step of the way. She fought the insurance company and won my sister’s case. She received a sizable settlement. I would recommend her services to anyone with a Workers Compensation injury!!

Where do I begin? Heather Kaplan is an amazing attorney. She helped me during the darkest time of my life. I suffered from a spinal injury at work and was in tremendous pain. I was told by many lawyers that there wasn’t much I could do and that this situation would take a few years to resolve. I didn’t have a few years, my treatments were being denied by the carrier and I needed answers and a solution. I decide to close my case and they were still giving me the run around. Heather has been so patient with me the last several months, responded promptly to every single text/inquiry I had, and always knew how to talk me off the ledge. She remained extremely professional, and kind throughout the hardest times of my life which is a big bonus in my book. She told me she would handle everything and find me a solution by the end of the year and she did just that!
