NEVER HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!! Mr. Carpentier represented me during part of my matrimonial action. Mr. Carpentier presided over my case which involved over 100 adjournments, with none of the issues being resolved. Mr. Carpentier billed me over $200,000 and there was never as much as a hearing on the issues. Then, this "attorney" had a lien placed on my file, attempting to prejudice my case. Ironically, the attorney who took over the case resolved all of the issues in the case, and needed absolutely NOTHING from Mr. Carpentier. My 2nd attorney won the case, and I'm a man who has full custody of my children. My new attorney was successful in a fraction of the time, and at 1/10th the cost of Mr. Carpentier. (HE ACTUALLY GOT RESULTS WHICH PROTECTED ME AND MY CHILDREN.) Then, Mr. Carpentier drove me into bankruptcy, attempting to garnish my wages, etc, all the while FIGHTING ANY ADJOURNMENTS to the case... Ridiculous. If this guy was half as aggressive when he was representing me as he was attempting to collect his fees, maybe I wouldn't have needed the 2nd attorney. If you are looking for someone who gets nothing done and wastes everyone's time and money, Robert Carpentier is your man. There are thousands of other lawyers out there... do yourself and your family a favor, keep looking.
