We hired Mr. Carpenter to assist with a family court matter, involving a complicated case. I had spoken with several lawyers who were not certain about how to go about the case. After meeting with with Mr. Carpenter, we were confident that he was the lawyer for us. He was quick to respond to our questions and concerns, but was also compassionate to our feelings. The case was long (took roughly a year from the start, with several bumps), but we got the end result that we were looking for! My son actually wrote Mr. Carpenter a letter thanking him for his work and kindness. I would use Mr. Carpenter again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him to others!

Todd was directed to represent my daughter by the Public Defender's office in Poughkeepsie, NY. He represented my daughter on burglary charges. He worked with my daughter as she wound her way through the legal maze and was interviewed by the ADA. He was instrumental in getting the best "deal" he could for my daughter, especially considering the number of counts. Todd made it clear my daughter was his client, not her mother or myself. Even so, Todd kept us abreast of all aspects of the case along with the various options my daughter had to consider. My only somewhat negative comment, and it really isn't negative at all, is that Todd could use some help in his practice. All in all, he was easy to communicate with and did a great job of explaining the legalize to my daughter and to her parents.
