i live in out of state and had a case in Surrogate Court ,Riverhead Ny, I had to interview attorneys on the telephone trying to retain help to pursue a case in Surrogate court .Every attorney said to me send a retainer and ill look at your folder before listening to what the challenge i had and if they had handle a situation/case like mine, one attorney even said just send me the money kid i'll take care of it. Im 55 years old.Mary took the time to listen to my case and situation over the phone . Mary said she was familiar with my unique situation and could help me and explained all the challenges that were ahead, by the end of phone i retained her. Mr DeChance was just terrific. We lived in our Miller Place home for 25 years and raised our 2 children there. When they were adults and pursuing their own careers and it was time to sell the property, my wife and I had many questions. Mr DeChance came and answered all our questions and gave me a "to do" list. The cloud was lifted. Then he mapped out a strategy to present the property through a Realtor we had chosen. We found a buyer in six months and Mr. DeChance represented us at closing. Mr. DeChance was extremely thorough, left no stone unturned and our closing was very smooth. He was masterful the way he buttoned up the deal when the buyer wanted to continue to negotiate price at closing. I recommend Paul DeChance if you are looking for an experienced, dedicated, knowledgable attorney and a terrific man.

My experience with Mary has been very positive. Mary is good at what she does she responded to all the questions quickly and effectively and helped me understand the legal process.

Paul did a great job with three cases I've been involved with: two work work-related lawsuits which we successfully defended (someone wrongly sued a non-profit organization for injuries we were not liable for), and one personal injury lawsuit (serious auto accident) which we also won. Honest, fair, smart, dedicated.

Paul failed to file proper paper work in a timely fashion from 2009 and its April 2013. I'm still waiting for a copy of my file I would not recommend him.
